They changed the dailies cause gold wasn't selling fast enough. That's two 150+ day streaks broken cause of R* and this one was deliberate. I'm done playing this for a while, espeically as the new update doesn't seem like anything special. Too bad, I really enjoy the atmosphere of this game and there's a lot in the base game that could easily be incorporated into the online but R* doesn't want to spend the money or time.

It's a gorgeous game. I think it's a bit slow and dragged out, but it's certainly worth 30% off.

Finally picked this up on Steam sale. Like all Rockstar games controls a bit janky but looks incredible, voice acting, and locations superb. Really fun.
Upgraded to Ryzen 5 5600X and RX 6800 for CyberPunk but waiting a while for that. This game is a great new PC test drive.

So easy way to beat that and always win in GTA. Start with minimum bet. If you lose, double the bet. Keep doubling until you win. Start over from minimum. That’s how I acquired all of the chips I have.

I only installed GTAOnline because of the casino. I made a character and drove straight there. Only to find out they don't actually have poker. Uninstalled.

IMO this is the most immersive game ever made. 7.1 headphones and close the office door and I just get lost in this shit.

So I played through this on PS4 on a cruddy tv a couple of years ago. It's now on sale for like 25 bucks for pc. I want to get it just to see it on my very high end pc, as I am sure it's gorgeous and even the PS4 version was eye candy. I'm very tempted.
However, I quit because they nerfed gold dailies. I played hundreds of hours online and I'd like to play on my pc but I don't really want to grind the gold. I had over 920 on my PS4 character when they tanked the dailies. I know there's no way to transfer characters or gold, and I am not directly asking for help cheating or anything, I just wonder, what would my options be for getting gold, without buying any, and without grinding since they nerfed it to hell and back? I guess I am asking for help cheating. And how bad it would be if I got caught, etc? Just curious and trying to talk myself out of giving these shitbird companies more money.

Thanks, pardner, no they made some BS claim about ps4 and pc being 'different versions of the game' so there would be no transfer. They really just wanted to drain gold from the economy after they nerfed the dailies. Anyway, I'm buying it, I just won't grind the online. I'm sure I won't.

In the same boat. Have it on ps4 but never played it there and kinda on the fence since most open world games I can't get into. Higher frame rate etc.. on PC may be the catalyst though.
PSN has this for $20 this week. Worthwhile to give it a go on the ps5? No idea if it has been updated to 4k/60 on the 5. I’ve never played it before, but enjoyed RDR1 well enough.
