It is pretty amusing that the new CEO said shadowbans shouldn't be used on normal users (which hasn't stopped happening) and then he steps up and basically starts shadowbanning entire subreddits.

Mods are now using scripts to ban users from their subs based on what other subs users have posted in or simply subscribed to.

I have always hated reddit's design. I hate 4chan's and twitter's design too. I want to be into the new shit, but they all have terrible usability. Unfortunately so many discussions have become centered at reddit. Steam is growing in the influence of discussions, especially for moddable games, but I don't think Valve remotely wants to be a community for discussion unless it's specifically relative to products exactly because of the kind of free speech drama that forums generate.

not even. when all the shitlords are cleaned out they'll designate elements of their own to be the new shitlords. lesbians get attacked for being misogynist too.

Background checks and photo IDs required for all users. Comments by white male redditors should always be sorted to the bottom of every thread.

The porn subreddits were the only relatively good thing about that site. If they start banning those then fuck 'em!
