Actually, I'll start a prelim sort on the divisions too. Dunno where Erronius stands skillwise, but if his skills with Steam are any indication, he could be in trouble Sean claims he's not very good either, but I don't buy it with his undefeated open league team

Adam, you should get your RM on the rerolled boards or in IRC or something so that when people get matched against him, they've got a way to get in touch with him.

If you don't like your division place, lemme know. Ain't looking to offend anyone, or throw them to the wolves, but since i haven't played you all and we have limited data to go on, it's gonna be a trial and error thing for season 1.

I'm very happy with this league composition with regards to race as it stands. D3 is somewhat orc heavy, but they're a great learning team, so that's totally okay. Other than that, it looks fantastic.

1- I had a link to the post in there, but I edited to quote the post now.

2 - TV cap doesn't work in perpetual leagues. For one, certain teams actually require inducements to function correctly, so certain teams having a high TV benefits them, as they will get more in inducement money. Second, lets say you're over the cap, but have all level 3 players? What are you forced to do? Fire your star? Seems ridiculous, and just a bunch of drama waiting to happen. TV works well as long as the inducement system is in place, and you're not being matched by TV (like matchmaking does). The game is actually designed to be played in a perpetual format like this with TV disparities, so it's gonna be fine.

Like last night I played a mirror match on my public league orc team -- was 1390ish TV vs his 1610 or something like that, and the wizard I got was enough to get me the win (or, more accurately, get him to quit...but that's besides the point).

If we can get some more apps, it won't be a problem, but I can't have an odd number of teams in each division, the round robin function doesn't work with byes for some reason.

Great, throw in an app. I don't consider signup to be even remotely closed yet, so if we can still get to 32, that'd be great.

I was kinda hoping you'd stick to lizard Oblio -- for a couple of reasons.

One, you really surprised the shit outta me with them. Lizards are a race where even if you're on your toes, they can make you look like a chump in short order with stunty and that speed.

Second, I hope we'll be able to do multiple seasons for the core here. I'm sure we'll lose some people after the first season and have to make some condensing adjustments, but even if we only run 16 for season 2, we're not gonna make new teams necessarily, just continue marching on. I think they'll be very strong and competitive as time goes on.

Great, hang tight for a couple days and we're gonna see if we can get to 30 or 32 (32 would be ideal, imo).

If not, I'll put out a call to arms, and we'll have a parallel league with guys that have enough time for 2 matches a week.
