Return to Silent Hill

The first movie was terrible. People see things they remember from the games and clap like excited retarded seals, but are too stupid to realize they were just shoved in there in nonsensical ways for the low IQ member berry retards.

Real question is what ending do they go with - hopefully they do one of the darker ones.

The 1st movie they did wasn't great, but I did like they had the balls to go with a darker ending

Good bad flicks did a retrospective on the first movie, and some talk on the second.



Christophe gans who wrote and directed teh first one, is doing this new one too. (he was the writer of Brotherhood of the wolf)

Silent hill 2 was not him.
Sean bean scenes in 1 were studio mandates.

Finally got around to this, and it's somehow worse than I imagined.

Still has the "hey remember this scene from the game???" moments that make zero sense and only exist for the dumbest common denominator, which is why you hear people praising the first movie, combined with "What if we took the great story parts of Silent Hill 2, and made them all stupid and meaningless? Fuck nuance".

I considered just spoiling the ending because if it saves people from watching this abortion then it's a net positive for humanity, but I'm not so big on humanity so whatever.
