The first movie was terrible. People see things they remember from the games and clap like excited retarded seals, but are too stupid to realize they were just shoved in there in nonsensical ways for the low IQ member berry retards.
That looks like a direct pull of the games' story. The acting seems not great, but if they just do the story exactly as it is in the game then I bet it will be at least a 5/10.
Watched that as well. Those scenes always felt off and now I know why. Brotherhood of the Wolf is fantastic. Hopefully he can recreate the magic of the first one. It was a good film imo.

Still has the "hey remember this scene from the game???" moments that make zero sense and only exist for the dumbest common denominator, which is why you hear people praising the first movie, combined with "What if we took the great story parts of Silent Hill 2, and made them all stupid and meaningless? Took me two nights to finish this and it is unredeemably bad. The only slight slight cool thing in it was when blonde chick got sishkabobed from behind my Pyramid Head. Every single thing about this was terrible and none of it in a good or charming way. I’d rather watch the entire Resident Evil catalog than this a second time.
