Real threats sure. It's called discretion though in this case. I already said I wasn't involved in the ban at all.
There has yet to be a poll to ask me to weigh in on the topic officially.
I don't know how I would rule at this point. So far it doesn't look like anyone knows how to properly ask for an appeal though or doesn't care to try.

I never said you weren't for those. You were just a high profile whiner when there was moderation that you deemed inconsistent. I'm not asking for no moderation. I'm saying that this threat of doxxing didn't seem like a threat at all. I'm 100% against doxxing members of this community.
I don't care enough about Tanoomba to do any official appeal.

I think the difference between what you said and Tanoomba said was night and day. He was quite bothered and shaken and lashing out in anger repeatedly. It was an indirect threat mainly because he has no personal information on Zyy. If he did I would bet money he would have pulled a "oh yeah what would boss_name_03 say about this post?" quite quickly.
You can't go nonstop at someone after multiple warnings from the moderators without expecting them to eventually pull the trigger. You can't see red that bad without any sign of letting up and claim later it's just a troll or that you didn't really mean it. He meant it he just didn't have the information to follow through on it.
So does someone get a pass due to incompetence or incomplete information? "I would doxx you right now if only I had more information on you!" Are you supposed to keep them around until they do? Not sure but I lean towards no.
