Some of my failed runs are just me transforming a card at the beginning, getting something fucking terrible, and then just quitting.

This channel is awesome. For each character - general guidelines, specific builds, best cards for each build, then a card tier list.

Man that’s the fun of these games is figuring that shit out. Why would you do that to yourself.

how do i win anything, I been trying necro...should I just pick up all pet cards for easy time?

Easiest and most consistent necro build is getting cards that generate Souls, then cards that benefit from using souls. I think another issue people might have is they start a run with a build in mind, and try to force it to work. But if RNG gives you mostly doom cards, then certainly a soul/pet build is no longer going to materialize.

I'll check these out after I've done grinding through all the difficulties to see if theres anything interesting I missed or to explain "Why in the world would anyone pick this card"

I think that’s the problem a lot of people have. They go in thinking “I’m gonna make this work” but rng says fuck you and gives you other stuff. Gotta just roll with what you are offered.

Necro seems harder to make work then the others I've found. I think it's problem is that is has too many things it's trying to do so getting the right things you need in a run to make it work is a smaller chance. Im still very new and could be wrong.

When I go Silent I go into it just planning to grab card draw blocks, free blocks, and Shivblock since it plays into multiple synergies, then see what my first Yellow card offer has. Something like Infinite Blades helps push me into shivs but if that doesn't work out it's still a free extra attack/card-play/discard fodder for other synergies. I'll generally check the end boss for first floor and prioritize grabbing one big attack if it's the dude who keeps handing out -2str/dex since that wrecks all the low.damage free or multi attacks

Game is definitely most difficult with the default starting decks. I have yet to lose anytime I do a "random" or "draft" deck.
