Assuming the icons are accurate, the Sony Xperia Z3 distinguishes between 3G, HSPA+, and 4G LTE. TMobile definitely delivers 4G LTE as far as the phone can tell.Depends on which language you're speaking. HSPA+ is sometimes referred to as 4G.
Exactly why I switched to sprint. You'd cut your bill by 75 dollars a month. Grandfathered plans just aren't worth keeping anymore. We currently pay $179/month for 2 lines (grandfathered) on AT&T. Both smartphones. I'm not sure how anyone could get a sub $100 rate when every plan adds 30/month data for each phone line on top of whatever your basic phone plan costs.
FamilyTalk Nation 550 with Rollover $50.00
AT&T Unlimited MicroCell Calling - Shared $19.99
Family Messaging Unlimited $30.00
Unlim data for 4G LTE Smartphones w/Visual Voice Mail $30.00
National Account Discount ?$6.40
1 Additional line costs
Monthly Plan Charges $37.59
Surcharges & Fees $2.00
Government Fees & Taxes $1.73
Total Wireless Charges
$179.22
It's a big reason we are considering moving to Tmobiles $100 unlimited LTE4G for 2 lines plan. So far the test drive phone works in house but it's on 2bars/LTE in our home not 4G. Not a big deal since it works with our wireless network though and we still need to test the coverage beyond our house.
Well, seeing as the infuse is a 4.5" screen, the iphone 4S would be the last model that was produced with a smaller screen (3.5"). The 5 has a 4.5" screen, so that might be too big as well. IIRC, carriers usually offer the previous iphone at a steep discount and the one before that for almost nothing, so the earliest iphone you'd be likely to get if you go back to AT&T would be the 5. You could buy an unlocked 4S from someone and use it on your prepaid carrier, depending on who that is.I need some advice and I know next to nothing about cell phones. I had AT&T for years and years. I dumped them and got a no contract prepaid phone service when I tried to get into the local AT&T store and they refused me a chair when I was nearly paralyzed and had to use a cane. I was told it keeps customers up and looking in the store.
Anyway I had a Samsung Infuse which I found to be too large for myself. In fact I had seriously considered going back to a flip phone because I sometimes have to make a trip to the job site and like the ability to easily clip it on my belt or whatever.
So anyway what's the smallest Iphone I can look into? I know I could go look in person but I'm in the process of relocationg so I thought I would ask the pros and cons not just based on size? I do minimal texting or anything like that.
It also appears I am stuck with AT&T again from lookin at their coverage map. Suggestions?
The only reason I am looking at going back to a smart phone is a couple of professional apps that are available for both apple and android.
Yeah actually after doing some more digging found out that there isn't any native support in android for s/mime, so importing p12 files is a bit pointless for my use case =/. There is Djigzo but ugh the only people who will tolerate that interface are tin foil hat folks. I read that samsungs email app does have suppor for it but none of the other mail apps do though. I did some fooling around with GPG/PGP today and didn't think to much of it honestly. It's an an old ass protocol and it really shows its age when configuring it.Did you do it this way?
