Why the heck would Spuds schedule these friendlies yesterday and today while being the opening game of the season early Saturday? Are any of those players really going to be fresh come Saturday in comparison to ManU's players? Ridiculous.

Guess LvG felt sorry for Spuds or he has Kane in his fantasy team. De Gea and Schweinsteiger out tomorrow with Blind partnering Jones. Romero, Blind, Jones, sounds sooo formidable.....

Main problem being that United have 2 great goal keepers, both fit and under contract.... but they'll field Romero or Johnstone instead. Groann....

As for CB's, I don't think he'll start with those 2 but things be crazy right now. Smalling distanced himself as the best last season after his silly red card, and on the flip side it's not as crazy as being forced to start with Valencia-Jones-James-Blackett crazy like last season.

I thought Jones had a decent game vs Barcelona, but he does some insanely boardline stupid shit alot of the time, Smalling gives a solid 6 performance most games but is completely average.

Darmain was excellent today and Smalling was solid. Carrick useless and Schweinsteiger was awesome

3 points but an average performance.

Average? Spuds were way better and the game was at OT. Swansea was better than Chelsea at the Bridge as well. Certainly gives hope for us LFC fans in watching such utter garbage.

Easy 3 points. Easily better than Tottenham over the 90 minutes. Them having the first 10 minutes and the last 10 minutes is fuck all especially when chasing a lead. Good luck this season Tottenham!

Totes better than whatever the team that United faced, what did they do - scramble a couple of chances from a few crosses in the last minute? Defended. They only had a spell in the first 10 minutes where shit might have worked for them, otherwise GL HF season Tottenham.

Good news is, team played well for long stretches. Bad news is, Kyle walker. Great opening day - Spurs/Manc was awful viewing but the other games were great. Swansea were fantastic! Aye looks like he'll adapt well.

Seems like Arse is working on a big transfer - excited, but think after Mancs turgid offensive display they'll try to hijack it if it's an attacker, and we know they can pay a ton more in wages as well
