so the school shooting was too far but it was shown off camera? all anyone saw was a flashing light in a classroom, gun shooting sound effects and kids screaming. if i had to pick something to be offended over it would be the buttrape scene, when the former US marshall dude sits down you hear a squish sound on the bed. ewww

i dont even understand why these guys are relevant anymore as a crime syndicate, there is literally like 5 guys left in the gang and Neo's gang could just kill them in 2 seconds and be the boss of the area. they dont even have good connections to get them out of trouble.

But there are hundreds of members in other chapters. As mother chapter they can call them all in and they still have clout on the streets

I just need the show to end. I need some closure.

That marshall is 100% psycho and in no way would he really have that kind of pull with every single law enforcement around.

Yeah its getting a little out of hand for a "retired" marshall.

I love the portrayal in the past of the corruption of Jail guards, and this shit with Otto is brutal from last week. But having Clay in solitary, walking up to a DA and being like OH THIS IS THE SONS GO AFTER THEM and shit is just too convenient.

Jax is shit. I havent like him in awhile. WHen Opie died the only characters keeping me going are Tig, Chibs, Bobby and Happy.

I like Bobby on the road trying to put together his own charter. That could be an interesting story.

Didnt realize there were so many California Chapters

How did he even find out about the specific gun and gang to begin with not to mention he conveniently had an ATF friend that owed him a favor ... it's ridiculous.

Jax is trying, he is failing miserably, but he is trying.

Bobby is a good story right now but I find it funny that he carries a huge map around instead of just writing down the clubs he wants to visit. He isn't using it for navigation, only to visualize where the people are. I know it's just for our benefit but that makes it funny to me.

Bobby needs a Pip Boy

I dont hate that he could put the guns together. Toric knows eveything about the sons right now, and knows they have a Crew in stockton (He was at Nero's whore house) so knowing the type of guns they import when they were under RICO before isnt crazy. But just the fact that a retired Marshall in a different city/county whatever can show up and people give a shit is ridiculous. I think in coming weeks we will see he has no power and is pulling favors and they run out, and without any pull he will lose his teeth. I mean the DA shit on his forged statement, so if anything happens with Clay they will want to do it direct.

I bet we see Clay tell Jax hes going to roll over, then come to find out Toric is full of it, the DA moves on and doesnt cut him a deal and he ends up in Gen Pop dead by seasons end.

I have to say as well, I didnt like the Miquel Prado season on Dexter, and I dont love Nero as a character, but Jimmy Smits is AMAZING.

Like any other actor either one would be pure shit, but he makes it OK.

the marshall is way too 4th wall for me as in he knows as much as us the viewers know, i'm glad we have Claudette from the shield again, she's awesome (cch pounder), i hope she isn't just gonna be a one season story arc, but she'll be go all the way into the last (like she'll be promoted to super prosecuter or something and go hardcore after all the SOA)

Is it just me in that I caught up on the series in a couple weeks and might be burnt out, or is SoA kind of boring now? It's like after season two they discovered their demographics lean towards women and they turned it into a soap opera where 85% of the show is characters backstabbing other characters while warring with their own demons and emotional turmoil. Everyone constantly flip-flops, Jax and Tara being the worst,we're moving,we're not moving, out of the MC, I could never leave the MC, I love you, I don't love you. Honestly, how these two are even together at this point is mind boggling, and it's the only thing they ever talk about.

I guess my gripe is seasons 1/2 were quite a roller coaster, but the constant was, despite one big secret and a couple small ones, the MC stuck together so you could cheer for them as a whole. They used cool tactics of intimidation and getting around the law you don't see in later seasons. After that (I like to call it post half-sack) its a downward spiral with just constant internal strife that plagues them, with the law being a tool to direct where things go. One season of internal strife that they ultimately overcome because of their bonds to the MC is ok, but that's all the show is about now, without the MC being the bulwark you would think it would be). Maybe I am just wishing there was more chaotic-neutral A-Team kind of stuff going on, but I find myself getting bored when the entire show is just a bunch of scenes of two people whispering lies to each other, broken up by the occasional Harley engine rumbling and gunshots.

maybe you still have the stink of that crappy baby snatching season, wait was it two seasons? fck that was a horrible run. But yea there's nothing here really... they're taking a great character that jimmy smitts plays and stiffs him with gemma? then they have a dumbass episode with jimmy smits making the most freshman moves. yea sure i'll threaten my cousin who seems like a brother to me, sure! wtf i'll just go cap him, byebye dave navaro. Oh, i trust you jax, just go give this crazy junkie enough smack to calm her down. Oh i believe you jax, you wouldn't kill a crazy white girl just cuz she'll endanger everything.

imo, SOA hasn't been a good show in years, just one of those shows that if you've invested time in it... eh, you know the characters.

I mean the MC seems to have super selective memory, no one brings up the fact that Clay has killed 3 SOA originals of those, 2 were the founders and leader. He takes leaders wife, takes his kid... then 18 years later he kills the other original (piney) he "tries" to kill his son, which ends up in with donna dieing (piney's daughter in law), and because the club was getting half arrested and opie was emo from jax not letting him kill clay, he feels he has to defend the club and eventually dies via pipe beating. And now those children are in the legal hands of a former pornstar that can barely make enough scratch to support 2 kid leeches and her own baby, that she has to do torture porn for terrorists.

the show is fucking terrible now. The characters just change to whatever the plot needs that week. Tara could rip her face off next episode and be an alien who yells out HAHAHA I AM TURNING ALL HUMANS INTO SLAVES BY TAKING OVER THE SOA and you'd just be "eh... I kinda expected that".

Its like one of those bad scifi shows where every season they try to make things bigger and bigger, but they have lost sight of why we like shows like this: an interesting look at a lifestyle none of us are familiar with, just tell good stories instead of trying to one up things every year.

The Marshall dude is way over the top. They are also really pushing the envelope on violence in this season too. I had to avert my eyes during the bottle opening scene. The part where he shot the chick in his hotel room was ridiculous too. I have to think it was really an accident, but now he's trying to pin it on Gemma? Was she someone that we have seen before or is his story that Gemma is going around murdering random hookers and dumping them in road ditches? Or was it Tara's car he was putting hair in? Maybe I shouldn't watch this show so late at night.

He isn't pinning it on Gemma, that was Nero's truck. They even mentioned it in the 911 call.

earlier he told cch pounder (the new black prosecutor) that nero has connections to jax, she said he's an OG but runs very clean, he said something like "well i heard he roughs up his girls" or something like that, that's why he took the samples.

ugh, soa is so slow...

you know the most glaring... wtf for me is? peter fucking weller... slices a guy open and points a gun at ppl, with this left hand... he's robocop! that's probably cuz he had the knife in his right hand, and just used his free hand to hold the gun. that's how sucky the show is...

you know what... it'd be really cool if they really did off tigs, just say "here black ppl, kill tigs" but they won't, it'll be dragged on.

Who's this black lady that's allowing the ex-marshal to work on the case? Has she been introduced prior to this season?

cch pounder (black lady) was introduced eps2, shes the DA or head DA... basically the one with power to get deals done and made to bury this school shooting and by bury, to get as many ppl to blame prosecuted. if you watched the SHIELD, you'll know who she is, claudette, sutter brings a lot of shield alums into soa.

robocop also directs or, writes or does something for soa, i forget which.

Yeah the writing has become terrible, as others said Sutter is trying too much to one up his stories every season it's getting lame. The whole "hey let's bring some mad rogue retired special agent or something from the outside and give him powers to fuck things up" is getting boring, plots keep getting dragged and most character buildup makes no sense anymore.
