Nah there's still good comedy out there. It's just hollywood got lazy and just writes about him. Which is irony, because Trump himself IS very funny.

Joe List, Jeff Dye, Mattheo Lane, Sam Morrill, Mark Norman, etc are all good current comedians that almost never touch politics.

They definitely went off the edge with trump shit. 2 episodes for a president was typical but they were doing episode about trump still during Biden. The whole joke was funny one episode but then they kept at is for 9 years now

I don't mind if a show/comedian goes hard on politicians as long as it isn't one sided.
Iirc, biden only appeared once on South Park in a deleted scene.
Some trump jokes are funny, but constant tds isn't. Same with Biden/Harris/etc jokes. Most is just the lowest of hanging fruit.

Way back in the day, they had a singular episode about Bin Laden, a movie about Saddam Hussein (and then a two-arc episode a few years later), a few appearances roasting Bush Jr, Bill Clinton, or Obama. All good and fun.

Then the 2016 election broke them and they did entire arcs on Hillary Clinton and Mr Garrison acting as Trump for some reason. I do like Mr Garrison but it was very heavy handed and lazy. I watched the Labubu episode last night, and even an episode about "6-7!" and Labubus was still centered around Trump.

I think City Wok being confused that "Go Wok Go Brock" is hilarious, and they could've kept it at that
