Nah there's still good comedy out there. It's just hollywood got lazy and just writes about him. Which is irony, because Trump himself IS very funny.

Joe List, Jeff Dye, Mattheo Lane, Sam Morrill, Mark Norman, etc are all good current comedians that almost never touch politics.

They definitely went off the edge with trump shit. 2 episodes for a president was typical but they were doing episode about trump still during Biden. The whole joke was funny one episode but then they kept at is for 9 years now

I thought the first episode with the AI thing at the end was pretty funny, especially in the context of their not yet completed contract with Paramount and Paramount's merger in the balance. After that it was pretty boring though. It kinda seems like their heart isn't in it anymore.

I don't mind if a show/comedian goes hard on politicians as long as it isn't one sided.
Iirc, biden only appeared once on South Park in a deleted scene.
Some trump jokes are funny, but constant tds isn't. Same with Biden/Harris/etc jokes. Most is just the lowest of hanging fruit.

Way back in the day, they had a singular episode about Bin Laden, a movie about Saddam Hussein (and then a two-arc episode a few years later), a few appearances roasting Bush Jr, Bill Clinton, or Obama. All good and fun.

Then the 2016 election broke them and they did entire arcs on Hillary Clinton and Mr Garrison acting as Trump for some reason. I do like Mr Garrison but it was very heavy handed and lazy. I watched the Labubu episode last night, and even an episode about "6-7!" and Labubus was still centered around Trump.

I think City Wok being confused that "Go Wok Go Brock" is hilarious, and they could've kept it at that

He's not entirely wrong. Trump broke a LOT of shit.
The Left tried to go after him like any other political enemy and it didn't work. Then they tried to wrecking ball him and that failed, too. Now they're left with the only weapon they've got: flood the media with anti-Trump rhetoric and propaganda with zero thought given to comedy, style, entertainment value, The Truth, etc. Which means, you can't watch/listen to/read a vast majority of media for it's actual intent. MOST comedy isn't comedy... it's Trump hate. Storylines in books get drowned out in Trump hate (See: Stephen King). Etc.

Yeah, dad. I don’t like Hillary and I didn’t vote for her. That doesn’t absolve the current potus from criticism.

I think the bigger difference is they weren’t obsessed with every episode/arc being about Biden vs how they are with Trump. That’s the complaint here.

Yeah, not much humor material when it's bland, bad and status quo.

I feel like, overall, South Park has mostly aligned with me politically, and has treated stupidity with the savagery it deserves (Chef Scientology crap, drawing Muhammad, StrongWoman(tm) as Macho Man Randy savage etc etc). The only episode I couldn't watch was where they straight up had an actual penis to mustard hole surgery on screen for entire minutes, sarcastically saying it was a routine surgery as they tear shit up on screen. BLECH

Saying Biden's term sucked is an understatement. The dollar devalued by a third, 10k+ illegals were being brought into the states and dispensed all over the country every single day, and the mentally ill were being pontificated.

You should caveat that you're a gigantic fucking faggot NIMBY anytime you weigh in on politics. I would say the same with Cybsled Cybsled , but the stench of his mustard hole makes it too obvious.

It’s the Mr Garrison becomes a woman episode, which I think also has Kyle and his dad’s negro/dolphinplasty.

They showed like 5 seconds of a real surgery, not “entire minutes” lol. Still gross.
