Ride a horse all day in the desert heat wearing leather pants and it may become more apparent. That is what I always assumed; it was just referring to the horrible discomfort of the long dusty trail. I mean for the first movie in history to show people farting, a reference to chaffed sweaty crotches seems totally appropriate.

Whats some good movies to spoof for this one. The first one was a spoof of all Sci Fi at the time with a focus on Star Wars.

My guess is Avatar, Prometheus, Hunger Games. Hmm anything else?

Inception should be in there, they practically did it already with the video tape of themselves in the original. Gravity-esque scene might be a little expensive but Oblivion, Pacific Rim, Edge of Tomorrow, Interstellar are prime candidates.
