I was all in with AEW when it first started. I lasted a couple years but now I just couldn't care less. Now there's too many belts. Too many multi-man/team matches. Too much flippy dippy shit so none of it feels spectacular anymore. Guys taking insane bumps and then basically no selling them. Tony Khan is just fucking terrible.

I was already only a casual but Moxley suffocating Bryan Danielson with a plastic bag was it for me. I'm out fuck you let me know when this clown's been fired or paralyzes himself.

He really is trash. Cornette cracks up calling him Dick the Boozer. Take-a-shit gets me every time too. He's got some good ones for them all.

Oh, come on. What the fuck.

Cena went out smiling, that is good enough for me. Tapping out was strictly about everything John said this week about looking to the future. Gunther is forever cemented as THE VILLAIN of WWE for all time. It was John's final gift to the future of the industry he loves so much.

I'm not so mad about him losing, but fucking losing to a tap out? They go on with this shit about his whole motto of "never give up" and he fucking gives up. Fucking stupid.

It's way more on point than you think. In the end we all are forced to give up. Father Time is undefeated

If you think he didn’t come up with the finish you’re crazy. It’s common for the old guard to put over the younger talent and that’s not a tradition Cena would ever even think about skipping. What better way to do that then tap out to them.

Did I like it? No. But I respect it.

GOAT means a lot of things to a lot of people, and while he’s not my all time favorite, he’s without a doubt my GOAT. From everything behind the camera to in front of it, no one touches him imo. Also, he’s just a hell of a guy too.

It was sad to see him go, but I’m happy for him too.

Yup. 100%

As an aside, HHH just became the Roger Goddell of WWE. The man will never hear a cheer again for the rest of his life.

From the “it’s still real to me” contingent. I’ve no doubt HHH told Cena he could end it how he wanted to. It’s crazy more people don’t realize this. TikTok is flooded with angry neckbeads going off about him as well.

I'm not 100% certain Cena ended it "his way". The dude is a huge "yes man" and has been for basically his entire career. The whole Travis Scott thing totally fucking up his Heel run, him not forcing WWE to pivot, and instead just going along with whatever kind of speaks to that..

which, really, is him going out the way he wants to. If what you say is the case, an isn’t that video to back it up, that’s even more proof of what I said, it anything against it.

Going with the flow, being okay with whatever, and working what’s given to him is what he’s done his whole career. If he really didn’t care, and thats how he went out, sounds like he got what he wanted. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I was never a huge Cena fan, but I give him way more respect in the industry than the Rock. He went out his way and isn't stringing along the end of his career.

I just find it odd he tapped to a sleeper. Don’t you usually pass out first?
