If he wins I feel like its a pretty lame story. Hes run all over Brock every RAW for a month. And then just goes and pins him at Wrestlemania? Not interesting at all. Brock winning is also lame, but Oba has to pay his dues or at least look a little beatable. I could see someone interfering or getting DQ'd and not a pin.

They can build it up by having Brock look strong early, but to just job out Oba after that hype of a promo and to kill all his momentum in general for Brock who doesn't need the win whatsoever would make so little sense. I'm not usually a holy shit that was a moment guy, but that promo "I have always been the one" was the fucking future.

The whole, "he can lose dirty" idea is dumb. A redemption arc doesn't really work for a dude like Oba, because in no feud will he ever look like an "underdog".

You can do the match a few ways, but Oba absolutely needs to beat Brock clean if they want him as part of the future. Having a dude on the verge of retirement win that match would be complete stupidity. So, that means Brock probably beats him in < 10 mins.

Saw that. What a fuckin joke of a promotion AEW is. Like really? Just after the banger with Omega, they give that no talent hack a fuckin squash match? What a shitty way to handle MJF leaving for shooting. Even a battle royale tourney with tacks instead of a mat would be fine for that shit hole, but noooo. Just dumb shit.
