Like absolutely nothing happened in this weeks episode of The Beginning After the End.. yet Im still enjoying it. I guess I'm just intrigued about the possibilities? The past king part? The fact that he's basically fucking Avatar? The fact that the entire world is basically unknown to him? etc.

I'm enjoying it too, couldn't tell you why. I look forward to it every week though. The animation leaves something to desire but I'm interested enough to keep tuning in every week to see what happens.

im rapidly losing interest. With a few exceptions I don't like the combo of an OP protagonist plus a serious tone, I prefer more lighthearted or goofy OP protagonist shows like Seventh Prince, How Not to Summon a Demon Lord, or Skeleton Knight in Another World. Even Arifureta mixes up all the edgelordiness with quite a few gags.

Ive read it, its pretty banging and one of the few good shows this season since 95% of this season is straight trash. This and Demon Hunter seem to be the only shit worth watching, havent even bothered to go beyond episode 1 on anything else. Korean and Chinese stories are just so much better than the shit japan is pushing nowadays. All that shit is trope filled hot garbage outside of 2-3 shows a year.

yeah it's a pretty ass season. nothing even comes close to must-watch, plenty of watchable trash though. it's giving me an incentive to catch up on actual shows i've been meaning to watch (For All Mankind, Severance, etc).

So my daughter really enjoys watching Anime, but every time I try getting her to watch a series, she intentionally doesn't. So I decided to sit down on the couch with her tonight and watch the first two episodes of Death Note. She liked it. I haven't seen it since it first aired. Good stuff.
