Well, really, Draegan, I agree. In this case however, I'm happy to embrace it. It wouldn't be hard for CIG to turn off sound effects in space, but I have a lot more fun hearing those explosions and engines, etc.

As for the anti-grav stuff, I can only assume that anti-grav requires less energy than maintaining rotational momentum in a vacuum.
