Star Wars: Battlefront, as told by Dice on Frostbite 3 (PS4?/XBone?/PC?)

Ive been meaning to get back in to this game, haven't played it since a week after launch. Bespin is only out for Season Pass holders right?

yup. I'm not really sure its worth the purchase of a SP by itself, esp since battlefront was on sale last week for like 40% off and will probably be on sale again soon again. I'm really enjoying it though, it feels like the game is now 70% of what I sorta expected it would be at launch (minus any real SP content)

The new EE-4 and X-8 Nightsniper pistol are almost must haves, though I prefer the T-21B overall the versatility of the pistol is too good... Dengar has a rapid fire DL-19 with amazing accuracy, have not played Lando yet but the guys weapon is that same pistol I mentioned.

9/20 for season pass holders (same day as Rise of Iron...) 2 weeks later otherwise

I don't really understand why the rebels would storm the death star though, that doesn't work at all with movie lore

Chewie as a new hero though is awesome, and a bounty hunter as the empire hero

I played about an hour today and its ok. The death star ground maps are pretty decent, although I think bespin is better. The maps capture the tight corridors and constricted feel of the death star, even stuff like the gravity gen rooms, but a new mode of the game is that death star space mode (which isn't really new) and its a 3 part game: first rebels try to take down a star destroyer with x and y wings, if that succeeds then they have to escort r2d2 from the detention cell block to an escape ship, and if that works then the rebels have to do a trench run on the surface of the death star ala Luke's "womp rats" moment. The last part is pretty fun, the space combat of part 1 is kinda bad though since its really, really, really basic with no frills - backgrounds look pretty but are really static, you can't destroy asteroids or ship floating junk, etc.

wouldn't really recommend the new DLC as something to buy, but if you already own the deluxe/etc its fun to play for an hour or two, then you are kinda bored
