I doubt we will ever get another KOTOR sadly and honestly even if they announced one, I’d be so skeptical that I’m not even sure I’d be happy about the announcement.

Man, well I’m sorry the space game in a setting with Sci-Fi sorcerers that gain their powers through microscopic organisms while yanking ships down from orbit with said powers, wielding light swords and shooting lasers at each other didn’t have the realism you needed to not break your immersion because a girl had a weird animation.

By this retarded logic, there's literally nothing that could be considered wrong because "lol space magic"

Maybe people don't want to play a butch lesbian looking version of Han Solo?

valid.

Crying about realism in a setting with space sorcerers who have created storms to disrupts a planets core and almost destroy it…is less so.

Sale 70% off, both consoles, base to ultimate edition. Tempted to get this for xbx. How's it in 2025/26?

I played it and at 70% off it is fine. It's not groundbreaking or anything, but I found it enjoyable enough.

I played it when it came out and enjoyed it despite it's many flaws, I heard they patched up a lot of the gameplay issues since then and that it's actually quite good now.

Good reason to use my xbox points which are basically useless now.

It’s pretty fun now. Reminded me of the Rogue 1 movie in some ways since it’s Star Wars, but not Jedi focused and all the mainstream stuff. The stealth stuff has been way tuned down and is much more optional, which helped a lot with game flow. It did get repetitive though even when I went into areas guns blazing a lot and just face tanked everything

Wait, I thought this was like and mmo or some such. Is it a single player game, forced protagonist, that somehow needs online access to play? I mean, don't we have the other poncho collection game 1 and 2 for that? Feck, where is Mist Mist ?

I 100%d the game and its decent, its nowhere near as good as the two Jedi Survivor games so if you haven't played those thats a better use of time. Still, there are some fun moments. The main character is boring and bland but also kinda awkward and klutzy and dumb which is fine i guess? There is no romance or anything, just pretty much a generic Ubisoft game with a minor Star Wars skin.

the DLCs are fine and pretty short so get the gold version if the price difference is tiny, which it usually is. The switch 2 version only runs at 30 fps while the PS5/xbox versions can run at 60 fps, 40 fps (VRR) or 30 fps. No clue how the PC version performs, I plat'd it on PS5.

it'll likely be on gamepass next year and there is zero replay value in the game, like 30-40 hours and you 100% it including DLCs (you can play the DLCs in the main campaign). It pulls a bit from Star Wars rebels weirdly.

Deluxe and Gold aren't on sale at all, nor is the season pass. It's either standard for $21 or ultimate for $39. And remember that Game Pass gets games that are on Ubi+ Classic, and the other big difference there besides the 1.5-2 year delay after release is that the games are standard edition unlike Ubi+ Premium. Even on sale it still seems dumb to pay more than the price of a month of Ubi+ for it. It's not that long, there's no more DLCs coming out, and it's still a mediocre game that has some of the most retarded looking takedown animations ever created, and even with the changes to make missions not auto-fail for breaking stealth you'll still be seeing them all the time.

I got this game for christmas. I haven't played it yet because I've been sticking to VR games. But I'll look for the jedi survivor games first.

That's about what I thought of Tales from the Galaxy's edge. A random shooter with a star wars skin. But I did like the star wars skin so I guess that formula works for me.

Aaand I just found out about Fallen Order VR. Now I need it, but I don't think it's out for PSVR2.

If you've recently watched a video saying this game has improved, don't listen to them. Paid shills. Game is still hot trash. The first two story missions or whatever the fuck they call them are the same fucking thing but in different locations. Sneak around in vents and steal things. To counter the absolute dogshit difficulty of sneaking at launch, they removed it, and thus the game has zero tension or difficulty at all. It is at its core a vent sneaking game.

The game looks like ass. Almost zero talent in the art department...and that is not considering how laughably shit the main character looks in game.

What is really striking to me is that this is the product of 600 developers, and NOT ONE OF THEM THOUGHT IT WAS SHIT. Bad art design, appalling main character design, shitty little mini games, awful stealth, open world that isn't, virtually everything about it is laughably bad. What is even more laughable is that there are 6,600 people credited with having a hand in some fashion in making this game. Kind of amazing they found so many uniformly shit workers in such a small amount of time.
