Really sad it all went to shit, as I thought the strange matter reveal for Henry was a great way of wrapping up the Upside Down plot. If they would have kept to the strictly 80's nostalgia-bait themes and not fagged it up, then it would have gone done as a pretty great show. Current Day-ism really fucked it, though.

I watched it with family friends, and we all laughed together at the sheer stupidity. This is the only way to enjoy shows like this anymore.

Well that was the best episode of the season. This show could have been so much better without the "message". It was better as an ending than Game of Throne's ending.

The thing that of course was truly never resolved, was the real bad thing, is still left alive. How did that stone come to be in our reality?

I assume the spinoff will follow this up. Hopefully this time without the strong "Message". The problem is, Stranger Things was also about Nostalgia. It has been done now. I do not think any kind of spinoff will have the same success but maybe I am wrong.

The weakest season, save for most of the final episode.

If they're doing a spinoff, which I could give two shits about, they'll just shift gears to 90s nostalgia.

Well if they're telling the story of the original stone that infected Henry and how it came to be in that random guy's briefcase, it would presumably take place in the 70s and could milk 70s nostalgia, which could be good, if done correctly, which I doubt at this point.

I like how they just completely forgot some characters in the ending like Murray, Vickie and Dustin’s girlfriend. I’m glad they didn’t try to make you sympathize for Henry and just let him end up being a villain.

From what I read, the spinoff focuses on Nancy, and it happens between S4 and 5 so will still be set in mid 80's.

Yeahhhh. Not much hope it's going to be anything good
Honestly really don't remember much about the show. I watched the first four seasons and I think I like three maybe the best, but even though I don't really remember much. Just based upon the talk in the thread about the final season, like I said earlier I'm probably not going to bother, let alone care about some goofy spin off that's not even after the show but somewhere between seasons. That just sounds bad.

It’s going to be about how Nancy became John Rambo overnight.
Isn't her brother the fag? If that's the case it'll probably be about him confiding in her about liking dudes or something gay while they train for the Apocalypse. It'll be the secret that she has to carry, her burden because her brother is a queer. Maybe that's why she becomes Rambo, what a pint of anger because her brothers a fag.

Wasn't there another character of the younger group that was related to the gay kid? See I don't remember any of it.

Maybe she knows that the kid is gay because he has the hots for her younger brother, and that's what causes her to go Rambo.

Yeah the gay kid's brother and Nancy were together for the majority of the show.

I liked how bullets don’t even phase the tiny demogorgons and dogs but bullets and spears were tearing up the massive mind flayer. Also enjoyed kids getting to the top of giant cliffs somehow in the 15 seconds it took Nancy to run to them. And of course all the stupid monologues in the middle of end of the world.

The long multi-ending sucked, could’ve made the end fight much longer. Don’t need to set up a happy everything-is-spelled out ending for each and every main character. Dustin doing what Eddie said he was going to do at graduation was funny.

What a turd of a final season. Oh well, glad it’s over.

Nancy 'Leeroy' Jenkins, master tactician. Just start shooting it while everyone is standing there, it's cool, they can teleport to the top of the cliff or something. Not to mention the idea that bullets would even register to something that size, or that it'd try and stick it's head in there instead of poking it with a leg, or that is conveniently more flammable than a pool of napalm.

Sad trombone for series ending.

Even apart from completely retarded action, after that they went full Peter Jackson.
You *never* go full Peter Jackson.

I have to say Hopper got a pretty light sentence for 47+ counts of 1st degree murder and domestic terrorism ;p
