No, because the entire show was structured around Riker and Troi rather than people actually from the show. Riker was trying to decide if he should tell Picard about something, and the Enterprise crew was just part of a holodeck simulation. I actually enjoyed that show, and have rewatched it, but I will never again watch the final episode. So fucking infuriating.

Ha what, I hadn't known about that being the final episode, as I never watched ST: Enterprise.

So I saw your post, and thought I was reading it wrong, or were you referring to another show?? ( I'm thinking it was one of the newer animated shows or something ) so I had to go and look that up. Damn that was a bad ending. Sorry to anyone who'd invested their time watching a show that ends like that.

The last episode of Enterprise was disdainful of the show's loyal audience that you rarely ever see. The writing was also ass. Hey, let's spoil a main character death before a commercial break.

fuck I’ll I’ll take the bait. The ending did suck but that’s not even close to what happened.

everything literally happened in the show from episode 1 until the end, only the “alternate reality” flash sideway scenes in the final season where the show never happened is purgatory.

Jax and team crashed, lived fought killed on the island, left came back, and fought to the end against the man in black. Then some died and their stories ended, others left and lived the rest of their lives and died. In purgatory they all lived that false life until they were all dead and ready for the afterlife and then it ends. The purgatory scenes is about 2 hours of the final season.

the reason the ending was all time awful wasn’t the “purgatory thing it was they told a 7 year story about anwar between good and evil with zero back story, magic and time travel that’s never explained, and it just sort of ends without any understanding of what ever happened.

Stranger things is souch like lost in that it set things up to be abandoned and ran in circles and contradicted itself and made no sense and ultimately you can tell thy just has a basic idea and some good ideas for a first season but not greater plan on how to build it for a long story

the Nerdrotic vid on Stranger Things S5 talked about that, it was the first time I'd heard of it. He used the term secondary viewing, that people are only semi interested in the show or film that they're "watching"
