It's not ended. It is a 26 episodes show.
Netflix japan adds an episode every week but I think Netflix US just published the whole first half in bulk, which is kinda retarded since the show is still ongoing.

I watched the CancerSubs (uncencored) version of Masou Gakuen HxH. It's definitely a crazy level of "fan service" in this show, but honestly... the plot from the first episode, wasn't too bad. It reminds me of Cross Ange in that regard, but who knows if it'll get too silly soon.

There is this type of outfit called HxH (I don't remember the real name they use). It allows these girls (and guys I guess) to "make" armor for battle. The armor can fly and shoot and all kinds of shit like that. However, it only has a limited amount of power.
High school boy is recruited to attend a new school on an island. Actually, his sister works for the school, so she recruits him. Flash back to his childhood where mom tells him that because he can't make armor from his HxH outfit, he is worthless and must be left behind.
Fastforward back to modern day and he gets off of the train in this new island school research center. He meets a hot chick and the island is suddenly attacked by aliens. Her HxH armor suit has like 5% power left, which is enough for her to take out the first alien, but when a bunch more appears, her suit shuts down. High school kid saves her from falling, and his sister suddenly is speaking to him through a com unit. She tells him to fondle the chick's breasts. Then explore her entire body, before suddenly squeezing the tits really hard. Somehow, this miraculously recharges her battle suit up to like 90% power, which she uses to effortlessly wipe out the alien army. He doesn't know what happened, she doesn't know what happened, but somehow he has this ability to recharge suits.
The end.

Ugh, the animation in Berserk is just bad. The facial expressions are what really rub me. The characters seem either lifeless or like their face doesn't match their emotions. If you'd never seen or read anything about Guts and this was your first experience you'd think he was a smart ass who likes to be coy.

Like the knights of Sidonia, the facial expressions are cringe worthy, however the battle scenes were $$. I turned the volume up, and the sound of the sword gave me a hardon. I also dislike the style for the faces, for the bodies its OK.
Puck's normal self is gayyyyy... but at least they kept the manga drawing for his comedic side.

I just watched the golden age arc movies last week. Trust me, this shit is bad.
I like Knights of Sidonia quite a bit. The animation style doesn't bother me at all in that show. But then again it doesn't have a well renowned series and a trilogy of phenomenal movies setting a precedent.
Guts looks skinny and emo compared to the menacing badass he was in the other animations. They made him smaller but his sword bigger. Grrrrrr.

I really cant say i give a dam about the abuse of CGI - Is it great? nope - and i wish it wasnt there but from the perspective of someone who has not read the manga and really just wants to see what happens i couldnt care less at this point. Alot of series have dumbed down animation over time instead of increasing. Fuck i was so salty at the change they did to Ippo and Terraformars but it is what it is really. Hopefully with the crappy CGI they find a good balance over time and the quality of the animation itself increases. If not i will still keep watching b/c i want to see what happens next and to me that far outweighs the CGI (to me).
