Baan was mostly enjoyable. It's a shame that more of the Japanese text wasn't translated, but using google translate, it resolved that issue.

Infinity Castle was pretty fucking epic. Kind of long but honestly they nailed everything they could. Direction was great and the complaints I had heard were about the pacing I didn't feel at all.

Holy fuck Akaza. What a villain arc. Just an absolutely banger of a death and finish to his story.

Apocalypse episodes still feel five minutes long but shit definitely got crazy this time. I love the concept that they're exploring but there's no way this shit gets a second season.

I've read that they invested 20 million into making the movie, and have already earned 500 million in ticket sales. I don't know how true that is because instagram, but it was listed at least.

man nashville must really hate anime, my wife and i were the only ones there, 1 guy came in 10mins after, made a lot of crumpling noise and left after 10mins, looked like he was just an employee using the recliner table to eat

That episode was everything I love about Dandadan. Having your absurdist parody of giant robot fights actually BE one of the best giant robot fights ever animated so you can simultaneously be laughing your ass off and watching in awe.

Having the little girl trying to shake the kaiju awake while an old woman pokes it with an umbrella was also both the dumbest possible response to an unconscious monster and also the most hilariously plausible.
