i watched dan da dan s1 on an airplane on my oled tablet, maybe not the best choice especially when high school kids are in their underwear/nekkid on screen. i powered through though just like trump did on epstein island
guess ill do kaiju 8 after dan da dan s2, i really really enjoyed clevatess so hoping for more stuff on that tier of fun to watch

Trying to catch up on shows that just didn't make the must watch list this season. Unbelievably good season. The season after the Covid shortened one is the only one that has really competed from my memory. From what I've seen of next season, it definitely can't compete. Some top tier stuff, just not very much of it.
Lord of Mysteries is really good for anyone like me who couldn't keep up with all the greatness.

Campfire cooking is going to be amazing. Opm, my hero, spy x family, and to your eternity are all ones I’m looking forward to. Clevatess was my favorite of the season and it came completely from left field. There always seems to be one anime that is the seasons hidden sleeper.

I still put dan da dan slightly above because it was non stop crazy shit.
Kaiju was pretty slow overall due to the necessary building up
The pay off however is and will be fucking incredible from here on out. Good luck to the people animating this shit cause I don't think there is a single slow episode left in the entire show from here on out.

I’m pretty much with you. Kaiju is amazing but it’s an action show that follows a fairly typical arc. Dandadan is crazy shit thrown together that just works. I love them both but Dandadans more unique. They excite me in different ways.

Great Rift Valley I think it was called.
They refer to it as a railgun but I never really got the impression that it or her personal cannon were firing solid rounds.

She mentions loading another round, but then it basically just powers up and looks like a laser. So I assumed it was actually just an energy weapon also.

If anything gay happening in the show is a deal-breaker for you, don't watch, but it is predominantly a psychological/supernatural horror, not BL. People who like Junji Ito and go into it with an semi-open mind will probably like it.

I found that show so strange. My wife and I started watching it, and the animation is really good, the story is fine etc etc. But it's just so damn depressing we just stopped like 2.5 episodes in.
