It's been quite a few years since the US was completely invincible on the courts, the rest of the world is taking basketball pretty 'seriously' these days. Look how many up and coming stars in the NBA are foreign born compared to just 10 years ago.

There's NBA players on a bunch of the other teams. Obviously the US team is the favorites, but France has 8 NBA or former NBA dudes on it's squad.
