This comes out in a week. I honestly had not paid much attention to it of late due to the combination of Destiny and Borderlands the Presequel but it does seem to have quite a bit of that Ratchet and Clank type Insomniac charm (especially with the grind paths and animation style). I feel this is more suitable to their overall skillset than Resistance was, but who am I to judge?
Anyone getting this puppy?

Best Buy and others are gonna be selling the SO bundle for $399. white xbox one, controller, and game (physical, not digital) for $399. They will also offer GCU that week for $30, normally $120, which is a steal since it gives you 20% off every game you buy, pays for itself after 3 games.
I'm tempted by the bundle but gonna wait for reviews, biggest problem is that the only games I'd play on Xone for the next six months is SO and halo MCC. Everything else seems like its gonna be out on PS4 or PC. I wouldn't be surprised to see a PC port of SO and Halo too, since Dead Rising 3 and Ryse recently got PC releases.

Ya, not saying it's bad or anything. I would probably pick it up if I had an xbone, at least once it got a bit cheaper

Good Deal imo, and in a month or so they will start selling those super low Xbox gold year subs on Ebay like they did last year.
Gives me Bulletstorm vibes. Most the reviews seem to like the gameplay but the story/tone/humor is very overdone.
Doesn't seem worth buying an Xbox for but if you have one then it sounds solid.

i dunno if its still true but for a while the microsoft store was offering a $100 coupon for trading in a 360/ps3 towards an xbox one

the funny thing is you got the coupon upon filling out the forms, not after sending in your 360/ps3. So i filled it in and got a coupon right away good until dec 2nd, and filed it away in my dropbox. Dunno if thats still true or not.
but after the price drop that will make the bundles $249, which is a crazy price. They may also have black friday deals where they throw in a year of xbox live or free forza or something, if that happens i'll probably pick up an xbox one finally.

They * Have * to have a way of tracking this. For instance, you bring the coupon and they scan it, and it lets them know if they received your system or not. Unless I am missing something.
Boy they sure are desperate.
$249 for the system with Sunset overdrive may even have me buying one.

I've been trying to find out what version and everything my 360 is but a couple of the charts online are confusing. For $249 and a game I'd consider one also. Maybe I just need to plug it back up and see if it is all in the system menu. It's black, but the old style, I'm thinking it is a 360 Elite 120gb.

They pretty much take anything as long as you provide controllers, cables and it's working. $100 for the most recent slim, and $100 for the most ancient "premium" 360's. It's actually kind of a rip off if you trade in a relatively new one.

Moderately tempting to trade-in my old PS3 that barely sees any use now with double PS4's and a good quantity of stuff coming out towards that. If only BL:tPS wasn't keeping it here I might join the XBox team a little bit.
