It literally was the Rock. He fought against even having Cavill more in the film because he didn't want to be overshadowed. He literally was the nail in the coffin for the Snyder DCU. Dude was trying to take over shit and even going over people's head to get what he wanted. He thought he was gonna be the literal savior of DC.
Which , if he had perspective of his character, he would have known couldn't happen. Literally his character is the "What if the good guy was really a bad guy, or EVIL TWIN!" action, that they couldn't let me an actual bad guy, so they made him an "anti-hero" which still makes him just a dark knock off of an original.

I don't know if I'm in the minority, but I liked the DCU Snyderverse stuff quite a bit, especially the longer versions of everything, just kind of grew on me. I also really enjoyed the last Batman movie and the Penguin show. I thought it was very good, but maybe my tastes have just changed over the years.
Just didn't like the new Batman. It took 3 attempts to get through it, I was bored out of my mind.

I will agree that it's definitely not in the normal superhero genre or whatever the hell, but I think it's a good film, and I would like to see more.
That's honestly probably my favorite. It was comic bookie enough but pretty cool. I honestly thought Ben Affleck was pretty good, but I didn't think Pattinson did a bad job, just a different type of movie.
Eh, I am going opening weekend most likely. I like pretty much all of Gunn's stuff. Peacemaker and his Suicide Squad were fun watches. Creature Commandos was pretty good too.
The Penguin show was done right. It was a great show. The Batman was boring as fuck. It had some entertaining beat downs but that's all. Everything else was just slow, emo bullshit. I'll take the shark repellent episode of the Adam West Batman as more realistic and cannon than whatever the fuck The Batman attempted to be.
