I watched these two movies an uncountable # of times. The 90s were a golden age for SNL movies.

Just realized this also came out in 1999, though I don't think I saw it until the 2000s. A lot of it was filmed very close to where I worked right after college.

Sure it was released in late 89 but it belonged to the 90's. At least were I lived in Podunk, USA it didn't really start to gain popularity until the summer/fall. However the sound is the similar to what Skinny Puppy, KMFDM and Nitzer Ebb released during 88-89. The evolution and push to mainstream and mega popularity(to the delight of some and dismay of others):

If you asked someone for an example of 80's music, no one in their right mind would day NiN. That is a 90's band even if their big album came out a few months before the 90's started.

Nuh uh, bro. Nirvana's Bleach came out in 88(maybe 89?) and everyone associated them with the eighties.

Listened to the whole CD today and no matter what any music from the 90's puts me right back to the day or time and the feeling when listening to it. These two albums put me in my basement playing the hell out of SNES and boinking my HS G/F on the couch.
