Multitasking is part of the OS. Voice and motion control is going to be free because the kinect is included in the box. The TV stuff ties into providers you already have, it's not an Xbox cost.

Why do I want a PS4? Because Sony has great exclusive franchises and the PS4 willlikelybe more powerful than the X1 and better for crossplatform games and I do not give a single fuck about ANY of those TV/voice/motion garbage features.
I saw nothing of interest at the PS4 conference, and I saw nothing of interest here, bar Forza 5, maybe.
I'd say Microsoft will probably come out looking the better of the two, though. They showed off Fifa, Madden, Call of Duty, and Halo, four of the biggest gaming franchises in the world. The general public will lap it up.

I don't understand why all of you expected them to reveal all their big games today with E3 right around the corner. That's obviously not what was going to happen.

Guide data will probably come from a third party, DirecTV for example doesn't provide guide data, they buy it and stream to people.
Devil wil be in the details, as long as they line up the HDMI in/out stuff is what I've said I've wanted for a long time after seeing it in person via a shitty Google TV product. Excited about the prospect of having a similar experience with capable hardware.

I'll likely get multiple Xbox and one ps4. While this was a shit conference the ps3 never delivered for me and Xbox has always been my console of choice. If Xbox can get RPGs I'm more than sold. I honestly don't even remember anything from Sony conference to make me want to buy it either, but I do like a lot of the simple tech behind the xboxone even if its as big as a old VCR.
No, you end it with someone from Microsoft talking about how great the Xbox One is, not some 3rd party game.

You're ridiculous. These guys just spent an entire reveal telling us what was going to be a big deal with X1. It all sucked. So, it's not premature, at least, to say "I'm not interested in the X1 at this time".
The PS4, however, is going to have exclusives that I'm very much interested in, so yes, I'll probably buy one. When has price point ever been that relevant? It's not like the thing will cost $5000.

So the early leaked specs are probably true. The architecture should be pretty similar to that in the PS4, too.

If the systems aren't within $100 of one another I'll be shocked. If the screenshots aren't near identical I'll be shocked as well... so right now as a gamer, what you're basing your opinion on is simple: Games, exclusives, etc. Flat out, Xbox didn't show anything we didn't already know regarding gaming. In fact, they're still withholding vital information re: system specs, always on, etc. If you're a 45 year old woman who wants to google soap opera actors while watching days of our fucking lives then congrats, you just got hooked! Admittedly, as a media center it looked fantastic. I want a gaming console myself....
