You're ridiculous. These guys just spent an entire reveal telling us what was going to be a big deal with X1. It all sucked. So, it's not premature, at least, to say "I'm not interested in the X1 at this time".

The PS4, however, is going to have exclusives that I'm very much interested in, so yes, I'll probably buy one. When has price point ever been that relevant? It's not like the thing will cost $5000.
You are a pretty bad consumer. You have seen no price point for either, no gameplay footage. You obviously don't understand how marketing works. That presentation probably excited a lot of people that wouldn't have been before. So you decide to go with a different system without any concrete information about game wise? Did you actually say when has price point been relevant? Holy fuck!

They had live gameplay footage at the PS4 conference, hello Killzone? Stop with your revisionist history.

I'm an average consumer. I'm basing my current decision, which may still change, on the franchises that have signed up for both. I don't give a shit about TV enhancing functionality. I want a gaming console. The PS4 seems to be in step to deliver, and the X1 does not. What part of this is difficult for you?

Other shoe drop #1: extra fee to play used games confirmed. I can't believe anyone thought EA "stopped" the online passes out of generosity.

Then realize that this presentation wasn't meant for you. What you care about will be at E3.

The part that anyone would actually make any decision at this point with vague information. Leaning is one thing. Saying OMG it does shit I dont care about so i'm not buying it seems silly.

Kinect TV Kinect TV Kinect TV Kinect TV Kinect TV, oh and here are the same 4 shitty multiplat franchises that you played last generation, we out.

Really?

This conference did absolutely nothing for me. Why did they even hold it only a couple weeks before E3?

So the Xbox is going to do everything that the PS4 does, plus all this TV shit added in, multitasking, voice and motion control, obviously the game selection will be near identical... Why are people interested in the PS4 again?
Yeah, I dont see any upside to the PS4.

What follows naturally from this is that each disc would have to be tied to a unique Xbox Live account, else you could take a single disc and pass it between everyone you know and copy the game over and over. Since this is clearly not going to happen, each disc must then only install for a single owner.

Microsoft did say that if a disc was used with a second account, that owner would be given the option to pay a fee and install the game from the disc, which would then mean that the new account would also own the game and could play it without the disc.

But what if a second person simply wanted to put the disc in and play the game without installing - and without paying extra? In other words, what happens to our traditional concept of a "used game"? This is a question for which Microsoft did not yet have an answer, and is surely something that game buyers (as well as renters and lenders) will want to know.

Yeah, I'll pass if there's a 'used game pass'.

Good luck, Microsoft.

So, this presentation wasn't meant for the average gaming consumer? Excellent marketing, then, as they showed only the parts that sucked about their gaming strategy. Hopefully E3 will be better, but I'm betting it won't be. If it is, I'll gladly eat my words.

I can't tell if you guys are serious or not if you think both systems won't have awesome games. Xbox already displayed it will take games from multiplatform to exclusive with FIFA and making some game come out first on its system rather than both at ones I.e. cod. I'm not sure how cheap you fuckers are but not like getting both is hard unless you work at McDonald's or Pizza Hut.

Both systems look awesome, neither system showed people playing the games, so until e3 you should stop the leaky vags.
