Quit raiding WoW last week and joined the PS4 club this week, was just waiting on a good deal to come along and when I saw this one pop up I had to get it.PlayStation 4 Console w 1 Select Game and 6 Month PS Plus Two 3 Month Cards | eBay

I figure Destiny, TLOU, and Shadow of Mordor will keep me busy awhile.

10 hrs to potentially sky's the limit depending on how you like Destiny (about 20 hrs was about my limit on Destiny), TLOU is 12 hrs or so unless you enjoy the multiplayer (expect 200+ if so, I loved the MP), Mordor is 20-30 hrs.

So depending on your gaming time available, could be quite a while, especially if you enjoy Destiny and TLOU MP.

Destiny is shit. The other games are good.

I picked up Shadow of Mordor finally for $24.99 when it was on the critics choice sale last week and I absolutely love it

Destiny is still the best FPS for this generation.

Tons of flaws, but most of them are only evident when you have already put 50+ hours into the game

I registered for MUBI on my PS4 (not sure if it's available in all regions) and I am getting good millage out of it. It's like a curated version of Netflix focusing of art house / world cinema / classics. Every day there is a new movie that you can watch within 30 days. So on any given day there are 30 movies to watch.

For rights reason, the movie selection depends on your location. I thought it would kill the service for me, being in Switzerland, but even with the movies I saw already and the movies I can't watch because they only have german dub/sub, I still find myself using the service for three or four movies a week and some have been real gems.


The app though is, inexplicably, super slow to boot. It seriously can take a couple minutes to go from the PS4 dashboard to the app's movie selection menu which is maybe a dozen megs worth of pictures and 100k worth of interface... mind blowing.

Will be interested in how much the standalone HBO service is next month, guessing $20+.

You can login to websites just fine and some apps. I don't have a list of what is supported and what isn't. They seem to have a real hardon for Hbogo.

This is the bullshit they say when anyone complains about it.

pretty awesome free PS+ this month, Valiant Hearts is supposed to be quite good (and short) and Oddworld, Counterspy, and Olli2 all look cool. Pretty huge game list for PS4

also if you spent $100 last month you should get a $15 credit on your PS4 (ps3) i just got it on mine was pretty awesome with the sales last month
