Oh no, its definitely bad. They were an example of a competitor, only. When I say that microsoft is taking ideas from them, and only the bad ones, I say that to emphasize how desperate they are to fuck as many people over as possible.LOL @ Apple's App Store being an example of non-draconian.
The PS4 controller is quite different than the usual dualshock so we will have to wait and see how it feels in the hand. I think it is wider with more substantial handles.I just fucken hate the PS controller otherwise I'd seriously consider jumping ship from Xbox after all this bullshit was released. I honestly can't understand how people find the ps controller comfortable. The sticks are way to close together, long play sessions my thumbs are fucked not to mention I'm constantly slipping of the things.
It blows my mind that people like them they are made for tiny Asian hands or some shit. When I put an Xbox controller in my hand it feels perfect. Hopefully a 3rd party makes an Xbox controller for the PS.
Well there is actually a ton of recreational goods that there is 0 used market for. Concert/Movie/Sporting event tickets, drugs/alcohol/cigarettes.You people amaze me. THIS IS EVERY OTHER MARKET ON THE PLANET. It's like you stupid newbies think that video games invented the used-sale concept. You are ignorant fools and playing into the sad music that the fat bastards at the top of Activision and EA are spewing. Here's a clue: Game publishers who drive this are not poor. They are rich beyond belief because they hoard so much of the money you spend on games. This is the music industry all over again. If the greedy cocksuckers at RIAA could have, they would have banned used CD shops in the 90's and 2000's. This industry doesn't need a clampdown on used games, it needs people running it that aren't in it for the money and that's exactly what we have right now in the only companies that really matter for major titles (Publishers). Bethesda, you're next to fall btw.
http://www.gamestop.com/ps3/accessor...ntroller/99935is the first one I saw that I think may be close - I know the stick/DPad config is 360I don't have a play station but don't they have third party controllers shaped like the 360s?
They have third party controllers in all kinds of shapes and configuration. There's even third party controllers that are modular and you can swap part locations around.I don't have a play station but don't they have third party controllers shaped like the 360s?
What I do find rather funny is everyone being up in arms about the no resale thing when Steam has been doing it for almost a decade now. I guess PC users are just used to not being able to loan/sell games because of CD keys and whatnot, or just from using Steam for so long.Wonder how used game sales(specifically digital copies) will work in the EU reading about this lawsuit:
http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2...aded-software/
Im no legal expert but seems that ruling will force XBone to allow resale of digital games and not just once.
Heh, I wonder how much they'll cost. Dualshock3s are still pretty expensive. I imagine that third party stuff does have to have all the same functionality of the main controllers, though I wonder what kind of custom design placement they'll do this time around with the new stuff added.Wonder how expensive controllers and thus 3rd party controllers will have to be with the touch pad on it. Like, does that have to be an exact spec across all controllers? How will that work on sticks?
Because we've been able to do whatever we want with our console discs/carts for theentire 40+ year history of gamingup until now. They've always been a physical good, not some temp data storage and a license. There's no reason to change that other than tofuck the consumer. What I do find rather funny is everyone being up in arms about the no resale thing when Steam has been doing it for almost a decade now. Gamefaqs has a fairly large console community, X360 and PS3 boards are usually really active. PC boards barely have any, unless it's a PC only title.Out of that poll I also gather there are more people that own a X360 than people that don't? Seems odd to me, unless PC gamers don't use gamefaqs.
You do realise steam is an option and not a neccassity don't you? Xbox on the other hand has only one other competitor when it comes to core gaming. Due to their being no choice if Sony decide to go the same route we are being forced into this as gamers. Please read at least the last 5-6 pages to find the numerous examples of steam and Xbox not being the same instead of trying to be the guy that thinks it cool to have the minority view. What I do find rather funny is everyone being up in arms about the no resale thing when Steam has been doing it for almost a decade now.
