Last time I tried playing, maybe a year ago? I downloaded it ran a mission or whatever and kept on crashing at a certain point. Like a reboot type crash that kept on happening. So I uninstalled.

Doesnt this run like pure shit on PC's like ours, though?

I had issues that I couldn't run over 5fps with DX12, and DX11 kinda ran like shit on a 3080. All it took me to do was to delete the shader caches and DX12 started working and it gave me another 15 fps over DX11 while being pretty smooth. The game WILL still randomly take a shit though, after a bunch of testing with my clan, it really does seem to be connection based. Even minor packet loss will cause it to shit the bed.

Used to have a lot of issues with Div2 but have been playing recently with zero crashes on a 4080/9800x3d.

So maybe finally they fixed this shit. From memory I didnt have any frame rate issues, in fact it ran well when it ran. But those hard crashes.

Are enemies still bullet sponges? I seem to remember after finishing the main storyline the 'challenge' was just to up their health 20x. (Been a while could be wrong)

DX12 was a problem early on and caused crashes. I remember changing it to DX11 and never having issues or performance problems back on my 1080.

Runs damn near flawless on max everything.

I remember playing it shortly after getting a 4090 and it would crash all the fucking time. I remember reading about DX11 or something, and I know I tried it - but I think it just moved the problem ? Or just suppressed enough of the other problems to the point that the only crash I was experiencing then was a fucking memory leak.

The computer I had before this one was an old ass 970. I swear to God - the game really did run flawless on that old ass SOB. But it doesnt surprise me at all that they "finally" fixed all of that shit with new content coming out.

Back when I first tried playing on my 4090 and was getting all those crashes - it really felt like the game was just on its End of Life period and they were sun setting it. Granted there are/were other games that were in development that were cancelled that were "suppose" to compete with this. But maybe Resurgence Mobile or w/e is going to do well - who knows.

The game has had it's crashing issues over the years after a new patch, one time I couldn't play the game for 6 months waiting on a patch to fix my crashing. But these days no problems running it on my old ass system.

Yes and no. Enemies can be spongy if you don't upgrade your gear, run a proper build, or running a skill build which tends to take a little longer for kills since you rely on skills to do the work, and if you're in the campaign you most likely aren't yet. By the end game(level 40) you get access to the sets, proper talents, proper skills, dmg multipliers, and attributes(like damage to armor, or out of cover damage).

The best gun build is using Strikers set with a fast rpm AR and you can melt enemies. You can even build one shot sniper builds, best sniper build even lets you do body shots as headshots. Some enemies are obviously still tanky like the doggies or the fat boys but you can still kill those in less than 10secs even on a skill build.

Every season tends to get new sets and new exotics which lets you change metas up a little.

NOTE TO EVERYONE RETURNING - if you have more than 1000 shd points and thus extra scavenging points above it, be sure to use them by tomorrow as they will be doing changes to the scavenging point system sharing with extra characters, with a soft reset with the expansion. They will be giving you some points in return but it will overwrite your unused points, so spend them on all your characters for whatever extra materials asap.

  • Spend your Scavenging Points before Y7S1 starts — once the update goes live, points will be account-bound and cannot be used more than one time in total. New Scavenging points will be gifted to your account based on your level and will overwrite what you had before. These changes are all about ensuring fairness and balance, particularly following the release of the Brooklyn DLC, as the current system could turn into a paid advantage with the new DLC features. Below, you’ll find a detailed explanation of the changes, along with both short- and long-term improvements we’re working on.

Seems pretty woke sadly. One of the loud speaker events is some tranny sounding person screaming about how capitalism and money are social constructs. Lot more girl boss including a white girl boss that gets impregnated by a dorky black nerd. Missions are cool and the echo's/recordings are pretty good but some of the more main chars are oof.
