Yeah, I'm not sure about this. I want to like it, but I feel like this is going to be one of those shows where practically everything those two do is ridiculously unlikely to actually happen in real life, or if it does, ends up getting their asses beat or worse. I could be wrong, and I'll most likely keep an eye on it to see what people think, but I can already feel my overwhelming hatred for the two of them building. Maybe somehow they'll end up being quirky and appealing characters, but right now, I'm not seeing it. Still, Netflix, so I'll at least watch the first episode most likely.

This is not "utter teenage bullshit" and it is not "coming of age movie".
It is british and it is interesting and well made. It is not a washed-out american teenage story.

Enjoyed it for what it was.

Would they really have been in much/any trouble for killing the serial killer who was going to rape/kill the girl? The DC said that even if it was in self defense it's still manslaughter.

Is the legal system over there really that fucked up? They'd literally be seen as heroes in the US

I watched the first episode. I might watch the rest eventually, as I didn't totally hate it, but I have tons of other shit to catch up on that I currently think will be better, like Trollhunters S2 and Travelers S2, Mindhunters, etc. Once I get through all that, and I've watched porn for the day, I might finish this.

I still kind of want both characters to get the shit beat out of them so they learn a little respect and how the world really works, but it isn't quite as strong as it was after I watched the trailer.

Finished the first half and i'm pleasantly suprised, trailer made it look like a mediocre netflix movie. Between this chick and "It's" Beverly, it's never been cooler to be a tough edgey ginger girl.

Jokes aside, both kids do a great job. Black Mirror perv found his acting niche.

They have to be going for a season 2 or the detective lesbian side story would make absolutely no sense.

This show was good. The total run time is about that of The Last Jedi, only this has character development and good pacing!
