The Fast Food Thread

Someone bought me these. The crunch is obnoxious and takes away bigtime. D

Got these. Pretty low-mid. Not worth individual reviews, but the chicken is the best imo. With a proper dip like au jus these might shine a bit more.

Bacon grilled cheese is pretty solid. I like the korean one even more, but I can see it being more controversial with people, it definitely wont be for everyone. High B, low A.

People are too stupid and lazy to make their own food, thats the fucking problem. Take any of that fast food crap and you can make it at home with better and more ingredients to your liking. Shit you can buy a bag of frozen 1/3lb burgers at costco for like $23. Thats like, what 15 1/3 lb burgers right there? You can make at home in 15 min tops.

Those nachos? Yeah what a rip. Thats like 1/4 of a bag of $3 nacho chips and another $2 worth of shit on top if that.

Last night I had some shaved ribeye steak subs. The package cost $7 and it made 3 fucking overfilled 6" awesome subs. Just add some onion garlic and peppers while its frying up, top it with cheese of your choice. 3 subs for like $10 if that.

I still eat out fast food around twice a week. There's definitely fast food which is a far better deal than others. As an example, last fast food I had last week was In-n-Out.

Cheeseburger was 3$ something, Fries like 2$ something, shake 2.85 or so. Got me a burger and fries. Worth, even with half the fries going in the trash. About 6$ and I was full, and I'd rather eat out on the days were I'm doing shit all day. Other fast food places that still generally seem worth it to me are Braums, dominos, Panda, waffle house, the mexican hotdog cart at the hardware store, and plenty of various mom and pop places or smaller chains.

I'm sure there's others which could get an honorable mention. Not sure what lets those companies stay so much more affordable, but places like wendy's can suck my dick. I still also rarely go to the less worth it restaurants if I get a coupon or just crave a god tier fast food item like arby's fries. There's no question that a lot of fast food is shit tier pricing now. Going to Denny's made me WTF. Half their meals are 20$ now.

Honestly, I think Door dash is probably at least partly responsible. Denny's used to be a go to cheap ass breakfast when visiting my parents. Now they both refuse to go there because its too expensive.

With delivery there's none of that and the delivery companies won't let them charge lower prices for in-store customers than they do for delivery. Yea, I think the pricing the same for delivery when they take like a 30 percent cut is what is killing them. Seemed like a good idea in the short term, but the klarna economy is starting to collapse, and I sure as shit ain’t paying 30% extra just cause I bothered to show up at a restaurant. I’ve never used door dash, the fact that they can’t just make things more expensive on door dash instead of fucking everyone else over too seems stupid.

But it’s an easy fix. I just don’t go to places like that.
