Speaking of middle class sustenance, tonight is going to be a vending machine dinner: a Big Texas Cinnamon Roll for the main course, a bag of Sour Patch Kids on the side, a Snickers bar for dessert, and a Diet Coke to wash them down. Total cost: $7.00.

I've eaten an entire large German Chocolate Ice Cream Cake from Baskin Robbins over the past week. My wife gets me an ice cream cake every year for my birthday, and I devour the thing in 7 days or less(she's not a big fan, so it's all mine)

I don't even want to know how many calories that is, good thing it's only once a year.

Working the late shift tonight? I had to last night. End of month and all. Day old warm caesar salad was my meal of choice.

Strange, they do not list their calories on any cakes.

I did find this pretty insane though:

You didn't think milk, ice cream and cookie dough condensed into a gigantic 32 oz milk shake would be crazy calories? I'm actually surprised it's not more than that.

Who the hell orders a big gulp sized milk shake?

McCheese, you ever read Grubgrade.com? I'm interested in your opinions on their reviews. They gave the Jalapeno Double a 6.5/10 so I personally take their reviews with a grain of salt. The best gauge of the food is probably the picture. One picture from some Canadian KFC 'sub' thing was basically a sub smothered in mayo and hot sauce with a shit ton of crispy chicken in it. They wanted lettuce and cheese, but honestly from the pic it looked right up my big ol' American alley.

Amateurs, I always keep a stash of clif bars at work just in case I get stuck at work(like tonight), but I think I'm in the wrong thread for that advice.

You might as well eat junk funk food. It tastes better and has about the same nutritional value. Cliff bars are basically sugary carbs.

I figured a hipster fuck like you would be turned on to Quest Bars by now.

Quest bars are stupid overpriced crap, I usually doOdwalla barsbut figured I'd name something everyone knew. It might be loaded with carbs/sugars but that's what you need if you are working a long day, at least I do since I work a manual labor job.

We went on a 5-day white water rafting/camping trip and decided to bring a bulk of various clif bars.

McCheese's description of hardened dog turd is essentially what I thought upon visual inspection and after the initial bite. Right in the trash.

McCheese I saw a white dude at work take a slice of applie pie with cheddar cheese melted on it into his office. I am not sure if this is normal or if its because he is a behemoth who weighs 400 lbs.

McCheese, I saw this on Facebook and thought I'd run it past our RR test mule before I attempted to make it. I await your detailed review.

Pull Apart Pizza Bread

Ingredients

2 Cans of pizza dough or biscuits
2 cups mozzarella cheese (or your favorite cheese)
2 tablespoons of a really good Italian seasoning or parsley flakes
? cup olive oil
1 - 8 oz package of pepperoni (we used the turkey)
1 cup Parmesan cheese
Optional: Add a ? teaspoon of fresh garlic or garlic powder (it's amazing)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
Cut pizza dough or biscuits into quarters
Cut the pepperoni into smaller pieces
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and toss so that the oil is spread evenly on each piece of dough
Bake for about 30 minutes (or until the top is brown and the center is thoroughly cooked) TIP: Be sure to check it in the middle before you pull it out. If the middle is still not cooked thoroughly be sure to leave it in another 5 minutes at a time until it's done.
Flip over on to a plate while it's still hot.
Serve with a side sauce and enjoy!

I mean the guy is from portland I expect him to bring this kind of stuff to a fast food thread.

Even though Portland has a fantastic Food Truck lined street right in the heart of the city. It's like a whole city block full of delicious food.
