I'd shank someone for some authentic tzatziki sauce from a Greek diner. The closest authentic Greek restaurant is 20 miles away from me. I do have a crazy Turkish grocery store + restaurant near me that makes some badass kebobs and gyros though.
Just left an area like that (well, like 10-15 min drive to the section of town like that) - never really did anything for me, not much of a diner fan overall though. The variety is nice, but I'd rather have a handful of items someplace I know I appreciate rather than pouring over a tome of stuff that's mostly done adequately at best and awful at worst.
My main issue is, local pizza places are almost always better than Pizza Hut/Papa Johns/Digiorno, but goddamnit, I hate paying $25 for a single pizza(if you don't have a coupon) The price of a pizza without a special sale/coupon is goddamned ridiculous. They're good, but that $7 Digiorno isn't bad, I don't know that the "real" pizza is worth 3x the cost.
Opinion invalid, they got rid of their buffalo chicken pizza because it was too messy in the factory. THAT IS BULLSHIT
Its actually Chik-fil-a's new slogan, "Chik-fil-a, so good we'll insult you in front of your wife and children and you'll come back for more."
The way I look at it is a large good pizza is at least two meals so you are only paying 12 bucks a meal so while dominoes is only 7 bucks a pizza, each pizza is a meal and it tastes horrible.
Papa John's isn't even in the same realm as Round Table as far as quality pizza.
