These things were the shit. Wendy's had them here for like a year and then went back to the shitty ketchup packets that you have to open with your mouth and you have to smear on a burger wrapper or something to dip your fries. They should be sued for going backwards with their technology.

I have never seen one of those. They must have been a target marketing thing that never panned out. How did that not pan out? It makes so much sense!

I don't know but I fucking raged the first time I went through the wendy's drive thru and got the old school packets. I actually made the choice of where I would have lunch based on the fact that Wendy's had these packets more than once.

It probably didn't pan out because that's way more expensive packaging, multiplied by however many millions they give out each year.

And I like my fries without anything, usually. I've tried the mayo thing and liked it, but I like Arby's Horsey sauce the best on fries.

Chik-Fil-A used to always have this. Not sure if they still do because their Buffalo Sauce is way better to dip anything in.

Literally every other dipping sauce besides mayo, and taco bell sauces come in packaging like that. So why wouldn't ketchup? But I actually already know the answer. Ketchup isn't just a dipping sauce. People pour it all over their burgers too, and it's a lot easier to do that with the traditional rip and squeeze packets than one of those dipping packets. It's why mayo comes that way too, because nobody dips anything in mayo (even though they should, seriously fries dipped in mayo are erotic)

Where do you people live that they even give you enough fucking condiments to even bitch about what kind of container they are in? I swear I have to fucking beg to get like 2 ketchup packets for a large fry.

Sometimes I get an idea and I just go through with it even though it's stupid...

Oh look at that. It's Dip AND Squeeze. Fucking brilliant. We should blame Brutul and all of Montana for making that fail.

It's like hot ice, it's the best of both worlds!

Chik, and Wendy's still have those in my area. I have about 100 in my food drawer at my desk at work. Always stocking up.

Chik-Fil-A seems hit or miss with them - always did at my old one near Towson (Parkville address I think technically - by the Safeway) - but down here in Florida, they don't have them. Down here in Florida though I did see them at a PIZZA HUT though - which seems like the oddest place ever to have them. (Was one of the rare sitdown Pizza Huts left though)

They still give those out at the krogers I go to sometimes on my lunch break. Best idea ever and it even comes with a decent amount of ketchup in it so you don't need fifteen of them like the stupid packets.

They are definitely changing the menu but none of the other articles I've read mentioned the big Mac or apple pie specifically
