Had those dirt cheap burger king nuggets today that theyve been advertising on TV. Super small and thin, but still better than mcnuggets.

No Hot Mustard sucks though - their Honey Mustard is good, but it's still no Hot Mustard

I know we got some panera bread hipsters up in here, but I ate there for the first time this week and really enjoyed it, can't wait for the one to open near my work.

I got a bbq chicken flatbread sandwich and I think vegetable medley soup w/ pesto. The sandwich was pretty good, only minus is it could have used a smidge more meat, the bbq sauce was really good. The soup was really good and excellent for dipping that bread that they give you into. They have pepsi products which is a minus, but they have a bunch of different teas, the flavored unsweetened teas don't even need sweetener they are so good.

One of my bosses is in Chicago and talks about Big Als, hes big into food so I am always hearing about the treasures of Chicago. I hear a lot about the Eastern European Meat markets in some neighborhood too.

@Panera is the shit for breakfast, I go almost everyday in the morning after working out for oatmeal or one of their souffl?s.

You can get that carrot/celery/pepper mixture at Potbelly as well. It is fucking good on a sub.

Al's is OK and they claim to be the original but Portillo's to me is the best and most accessible (as in, they are all over the place and consistent. Al's is basically franchised now and some of them suck dick). There are other places that are better but I am not driving 40 minutes to some random suburb just for a beef sandwich.

I had to google what a weck roll is. Never even heard that word before. It must be an east coast thing.

I like Panera. My only gripe is that they are way overpriced. Their portions have shrunk quite a bit in the past 5-ish years, yet their prices have gone up quite a bit. $9.00 for half a cold turkey sandwich and 5oz of soup is a bit much.

Every Panera I'm ever at is packed to the gills with people. So yeah it is expensive but people are obviously willing to fork out the cash.

If it's like most of the one's I've been to, two thirds are just there for their liberal rules on using their Free WiFi, just like Barnes & Noble tends to be packed with the gills with people even though they only actually are making a handful of sales.
