Cody is ass, all he has is an incredibly good low short the rest of trash. Ken is very good in this version-completely being slept on in NA unlike in Japan heh

Smug won't pick up a new character, smug is a dudley purist. He's hungry and just needs more practice against grapplers.. NY has no good giefs or anything to train him.
As much as i love me some AquaSilk.. skillwise-he's an online warrior at best, he's nowhere near as good as snakeeyez.

I think the best Gief he actually plays in NYC is that Nick guy who sometimes comes to NLBC.

Curleh is this weekend right? And Evo next?

I'm finally watching SEAM grand finals.. man momochi is 2 stronk, I really hope he can do well at Evo regardless of him choking at CEO

I'll still be rooting for my boy kaz though, gotta rep that yun pride~

Honestly wasn't sure what Momochi was thinking. He did great with Ken in the first game... just that luck wasn't on his side.

Yeah, i think he dropped Ken way, way too quickly. I was hype for his Decapre though, i wish i could low forward xx light daggers that consistently

Nick Hero is the Gief that usually shows up to NLBC and he's pretty decent. IIRC, he does give Smug trouble.

I have two old guildies/friends going this year, I'm living vicariously through them. It's their first Evo, they're very good players, but...it's their first Evo. I'll be happy if they don't both go 0-2

They'll have pretty good chances so long as they aren't in a very stacked pool.. most pools will only have 1 maybe 2 top players in it.. so theres definitely a chance of getting out in losers lol
it's pretty nerve inducing though so theres that

No trashtalk this week. There was a storm outside, so there weren't as many players as usual.

However, he will be at Wednesday Night Fights for the next 3 weeks.

This is a mistake on his part, it lets the west coast get more experience against him right before evo.

On the other hand, he also gets to learn them which is probably a larger benefit to them learning him.
