The First Descendant

Newest update is out, with the new character Dia and a new dungeon along with other stuff.



Dia is pretty fun, not quite the playstyle I prefer though. Farming her up is really easy, can either run the new dungeon or Sigma Sector. Farming the new weapon designed for Ines was a hassle though mainly due to the amount of material needed to max it out. Got enough Dia parts to craft her a few times in that time span. This new dungeon isn't a HP sink like the previous two even with a full group.

They did a balance pass on Gley and made her into a beast. They changed one of her transcendent mods so that she kills everything in a 160-ish degree cone in front of her, the only drawback to it is that you're locked into the skill animation for a few seconds. I LIKE it. They added a new system for new players and vets, where you get missions from the Eckert npc, which will reward with stuff like the Swords, a Doggo and a few characters (Sharen, Freyna, Blair, etc). Easy, casual way to max out the Swords.

So because I liked this new Blood & Iron Gley build (which is fun, but strooooong), it will be getting adjusted later this week. Oof. Needed it though.

Have not tried Dia yet, still working on maxing out ultimate Luna and Frenya. Gley and Dia look sick though.

The subreddit is full of idiotic Karen's, and lots of ppl who complain about "content".

They have added a lot of stuff to the game since you played, so if you do play again it might feel like a new game or a bit overwhelming.

Ult Freyna is still top tier though, able to do everything.

For those thinking of coming back, or are fairly new here is pretty good video by one of the better content creators for TFD. Might have good information for anyone/everyone.
