I Liked it. thought jackie did an excellent job in an "understated" role. yes his char was not entirely needed, but he was great in his role (granted not a talk, alot of facial expression.

would have all the results been the same?

most of it -well except for one thing-- the bit at the end...posting the pic of bronson kissing the girl to the internet most likely destroyed the agreement to pardon the people(his brother)/keep him in "office".

Re-cast Jackie Chan for Jet Li, expand his role as a villain, and then I'll admit I saw this movie.

Serious miscast.

I guess my expectations were extremely low after reading this thread, but I honestly came out enjoying the movie. Far from perfect, but a decent movie. IMDB has it pinned at a "7.1". Seems fair.
