You still don't understand how any of this works, or you're lying. So stupid, or lying. Pick one, or both, stupid liars are also a thing.

You didn't bother to post the source but here it is, this Vanity Fair article of all places:

So according to this, the night before Trump says you're going to need "10,000 people." If he wanted "10,000 National Guard" like he claims (now he claims 20,000, because why not? If you're gonna lie, lie bigly) and DC only has 1100 total, then he would have had to immediately get on the phone with multiple states' governors in order to get 10,000 fully armed, armored National Guard riot police, and start signing executive orders and doing everything necessary to deploy a full armed mobilization of nationalized National Guard from multiple states to the National Capital Region while not violating the Posse Comitatus Act, on about 12 hours notice.

Again, this is not something you can do in a handwaivey, off-the cuff manner. This isn't stuff you just delegate. This requires signed orders, coordination with the governors of multiple states, etc. 10,000 National Guard is a full-on disaster response, on less than 12 hours notice. Trump at this point has been President of the United States for 4 entire years. He is not new at the job. This is not his first week. They used the National Guard at the capital for the BLM protests earlier that summer. He knows how this shit works.

If you believe any of what you're saying, you are dumb. And if you don't believe it, you are lying and wasting our time.
Trump isn't lying, he suggested 10,000 troops. He is wrong on certain details like the number offered however we know he is prone to exaggeration. I get the impression Trump was suggesting he felt they were going to need 10,000 troops and that if Miller asked the answer would have been 'yes' but no one asked so nothing was officially offered.

Sorry, Mist, you are

You've missed the entire point, his own acting Secretary of Defense says he didn't request 10,000 of any National Guard troops, DC or otherwise. Trump keeps claiming he did, and that Nancy Pelosi (who isn't part of the process in any way) denied it.

That's because he didn't make the request to that SOD, or probably even through the proper channels. But he did request it, and warn people, in his typical "talk about things and expect them to just get done" style. He wasn't acting at all like someone gearing up for a military junta takeover.

Did he flub the request in a half-ass way by not using proper channels? Yeah I guess. But what matters in this case is intention and I don't think his intentions were anywhere near what the left projects onto him.

Again, this all misses the point.

Trump has claimed:

He ordered 10,000 troops but it was rejected by Nancy Pelosi - This is an obvious lie. Nancy Pelosi has no part in this process at all.
He ordered 10,000 troops but it was rejected by Mayor Bowser - This is also a lie. The Secretary of the Army and the Secretary of Defense offered 340 DC National Guard (with no weapons oor gear) and they were accepted. This is all that was offered.

What actually happened, per the only accounts we have, is he off-hand mentioned "needing 10,000 people" in an unrelated meeting the night before the event. So 12 hours to mobilize, arm and equip 2-3 brigades worth of National Guard, but never actually took any of the steps necessary to make that happen, not even the first step of calling up the governors required to nationalize those troops.

No one is claiming maliciousness on the part of Trump here. It's just negligence/half-assed bullshittery and then blaming unrelated people.

You enjoy being publicly humiliated? You already got embarrassed and had to walk back your bullshit about him "ordering 10,000 DC national guard" and still haven't been able to cite any of the bullshit you claim.

Cite where Trump claimed to have "ordered" anything. Then cite where it was the DC national guard. Then cite where he ordered it but was rejected by anyone. You know, cite ANY OF THE BULLSHIT claims you keep making.

You were literally shown a quote of him saying they'd need 10,000 troops and that the SOD being told to do whatever he needs to, but that's just an unrelated offhand comment. Ok, you fucking retard. You also don't think the secretary of defense has any authority or ability to call anyone. It has to personally be the president doing everything.

You're the one embarrassing yourself here:

Again, for the 10th time. A mobilization order would have had to been signed by the president. If he wanted National Guard from other states (which he would need to hit the 10,000 number) that requires federalizing NG from other states, which also requires executive orders signed by the president. All sorts of legal and jurisdictional issues would have had to been sorted out in order to make this happen and not violate the Posse Comitatus Act, even if you want to say he delegated all of the logistical issues to make this happen on 12 hours' notice. If he wanted anything like this to happen, that would be an all-night affair making it happen. The very fact that he claims Nancy Pelosi had any part of this makes it a very obvious lie. You're believing obvious lies. It's embarrassing.

There you go, proving again how your 140IQ was just another of your many bullshit lies. Nowhere in there does it say he "ordered" anything, which you repeatedly insisted he did. If it were troops under his command he wouldn't '"request" them. So way to own yourself.

Also love how you claim to be so smart, yet blindly go along with an article that gives you quotes then summarizes them into something completely different

You also don't know shit about the national guard or the secretary of defense so just stop digging your retarded hole.

This is a complete misunderstanding or misrepresentation of what happened on January 6th. The protests/protestors themselves are the least interesting/consequential part of what happened that day, and the fact that people keep focusing on the protest itself and not why it happened and who caused it to happen is either intentional ignorance or malicious misdirection.

The protest was not organic. It was entirely astroturfed and organized from the top down. On the day of the event, there was an organizing committee at the Willard Hotel directing the entire plan, which had been laid out over the span of weeks to happen on a very specific day at a very specific time. A handful of ringleaders, taking direction directly from political operatives of the sitting president, set in motion a riot with the express intent of delaying the certification of the election and to force the evacuation of the vice president to a secure location, aka kidnapping. The plan was always to use the riot to get the Secret Service to remove Mike Pence from the Capitol, ostensibly for his own safely, but in actuality so they could stop the certification indefinitely and force a constitutional crisis. Approximately 150 elected representatives in congress went along with all or part of this plan, either knowingly or unknowingly.

Many of those political operatives have since been deposed under oath that they knew the things they were saying were lies, up to and including Rudy Guliani. There are text messages saying they knew what they were doing was a crime at the highest levels imaginable and requests for expedited and/or pre-emptive pardons. If Pence hadn't returned to the joint session to complete the certification that evening, there would have been a constitutional crisis on a level never seen before in American history.

The protestors were just pawns of an extremely dangerous political game of historic proportions. Never in the history of this country have operatives of a sitting president conspired to stop the certification of an election or the peaceful transfer of power. Had they been successful, it would have been the most significant political event in US history and one of the most significant in the history of the world, something people would have talked about for centuries. But it was very clearly a political game puppeteered by a handful of people, and the protestors, being merely pawns, should have all been immediately granted full pardons by the new administration, while the ringleaders and political operatives should have been immediately tried for treason. In the time of our founders, those people would have been executed for this shit.
