It definitely needs…something.I don't know if anyone has any of the devs ears but my hope is they do something to incentivize killing the bosses. One, I think its a cool aspect of the expansion. PoP has much more than farming the top raid boss over and over again since you have the pantheon of gods and all of PoT where you experience them again.
My thought is you make each tier of gods a percentage to get augments, glamour, or some other specialized loot. I understand Quarm should probably be your greatest chance to get BiS items but with so many lore-driven bosses, they could easily drop specific types of augments so you can change it up over the 16 weeks. Maybe each of them drop of piece that can be combined for a Legendary Augment. Such as Rallos, MM, Fennin, and Quarm drop a piece for a melee specific Aug. So a god from each tier drops a piece with Quarm dropping the final piece.
I think PoP has far too much potential to be interesting for this type of server and deserves more than getting to Time and spam killing Quarm. Just my thoughts.

But that was also without level 65, new gear, spells, etc. that PoP will bring over Velious tier loot.No he was definitely way hard pre-nerf, you probably didn't try it when velious came out. After nerf it was easy to solo in era, just slightly harder then kera.
Well I mean EQ has been all about farming shit from the beginning. Everything gained in EQ, whether it be gear, items, quest items, or whatever is camping spawns and PH spawns. Thats almost every MMORPG ever made. You keep repeating same content until you get what you came there for. Unless you just buy it from bazaar, but then whats the point to it all? Also you want challenge, but then you pick the only combo that steamrolls almost everything with a few clicks of a button. I get it, it was the smart combo to pick for a first character. EZ offline AA, and hardly no ramp up time. But if you want challenge, then pick something else and level it and then throw that against Bristlebane or Seru and see how you fare. Or come back when they have the SSF shit up and try something then, where you cant just buy raid gear for pennies, and get your lv 1 to 5K hp and 2K AC and then level them offline with 2-3 pets.It definitely needs…something.
I killed Bristlebane once. I killed sleeper once. I killed emp 3-4 times because it was so easy to get to. I killed Seru twice. Then I barely played at all. I can’t do farming, it needs to be interesting in some other way to keep me engaged. I need some kind of challenge.

- Doppelgangers now respect spell recast times of spells they inherit from their owner. (They were chain casting .5 cast 10 second recast spells like Ranger nukes)
- Swarm pets inherit spell modifiers from their owner even when their owner has no other pets. (Swarm pet buff?)
- Zone State restoration is now improved in such a way as to prevent spawning multiple mobs on zone restore. (I'm honestly glad they are working on getting this right before PoP comes out.)

Whenever I zone into Sleeper's to do my Keras run there are anywhere from 6-12 pets hanging by the echo every time.

Yeah I was gonna say the mage pet bag is fucking broken. They're extremely gunshy about nerfing them and it's partially why white damage builds are suffering as well. Because any buffs to white damage are also going to make pets even stronger.
The real issue is the pet bags IMO. A mage pet is basically like adding a 4th class to your comp and acts like a warrior with slightly less health/avoidance, but probably does comparable if not more DPS than an actual warrior.
Pet bags are a great idea in theory, but absolutely overpowered as shit on a server such as this.

And he keeps on saying that they dont want to make the next FOTM class, the next "this build needs this class". He gets asked why the Ench dopples dont get melee skills, (like monk kicks, rogue backstabs..etc) same shit, they dont want to make the next FOTM. I know, it might be broke as fuck, but cant they tune it further? As of right now you cant pair an ench with 2 melee because its worthless without spells.
So here we are stuck in a perpetual 3-4 builds OP as fuck, the rest can suck a dick because devs gunshy.
