If you have a Ssra bane weapon and cure greater curse you should be ok. Look in the baz and see if you upgrade any gear. It should be pretty easy to hit 3k ac and 2500atk. Do you have all the important AA? Emp should be pretty easy if you have all that and hit your burn cooldowns when the fight starts.

Yeah killed everything. Have a bane weapon. It's just the emperor thats left in the whole temple. I run in with DA on because he was flying me into the air when I first entered the room. After that runs off I hit the cool downs and then he still proceeds to whale on me. I mean I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I'm at like 2800aa with everything except the stupid shit.
That fly in the air is his greater curse debuff landing. You can remove it with the RGC spell or if you have purify aa you can remove it once that way. He will recast it every 60 seconds I think. I always hit divine aura right when Emp goes aggro and the DA will eat the first curse. Click off DA, pop every single one of my burn buttons, and Emp drops quickly. Not sure what else to tell you. Is your Ssra bane sword slotted with 2 healing augs? That should help with sustain while you have your divine avatar and other burn stuff going
edit: are you 100% sure you are fully removing the greater curse debuff? If not, that will completely gut your dps and then yes you will die quickly since you can’t proc your sustain heals. Also, keep ethereal cleansing or whatever the best HoT is, going the whole fight if you have to. Also pop exquisite benediction and all your heal AAs for the fight if you’re dying. Helps a lot.

Your monk should have 2 ways to cleanse that shit too, instant. I think one is purification and the second is purify body AAs. He casts the curse every minute, something I didnt get at first, but thanks to the peeps here which informed me. But anyway yeah, he casts the curse every minute or so so all you have to do is either use the AA cleanses or your cleric should have access to remove greater curse spell. So your dude actually has 3 ways to cleanse that shit. And when youre cleansed is the time to use CDs.
Its really this fight and the inquisitor which have these curse BS mechanics. Most other bosses are just all tank and spank with no interactions, lol.

Pet mitigation nerf. Pets will have a mitigation hard cap. They will be now akin to a BIS tank if they have BIS gear. This shit was broken, they found that tank mage pet was only getting 1/5 the dmg of a normal tank. And it would only get worse...With POP buffs they would have 88% mitigation, so the shit is getting nerfed.
I didnt quite catch it but they said that other pets liike druid and shaman are getting buffs.
They went through every encounter and zone in PoP and removed the BS. Example.. all stuns will be max 5 sec with 15 sec recast. They made all encounters up to time be soloable. Time will be 2 man stuff but he said that if youre BIS you will still be able to solo it.
There is a surprise custom encounter that he said will be "fun" this time not like sseru.
The SSF/HC is pretty much done and will drop soon as PoP is more stable and problems patched.

Wanted to share something I stumbled upon today, in that your character benefits from the Focus Effect and/or Effect: Spell "affinity" of the item in your progression slot. So if you have something like Nightcaller Leggings/Slippers of Dark Whispers in the slot, you get the 30% haste on beneficial spells. Or if you have Gloves of the Crimson Sigil in the slot, then the Call of Fire buff doesn't tick down like it would if you were a non-Ranger only clicking the item from a bag.
Obviously you can't store items in the slot permanently, but good for those times when you don't want to gimp your gear down just to be able to take advantage of a focus effect.

I’m a little apprehensive about PoTime. The whole appeal of this server is to solo stuff. If Time is going to be a sweaty mess that requires top 1% gear and builds to solo it, I’m not sure how fun that will be. I enjoyed Kunark, Velious and Luclin because I could solo the hardest stuff well before I was 100% BiS.

I agree. You will see a massive fall off if they do shit this way since 98.7% of this server is solo. Not only that, but weve got 16 weeks of that shit. I will prob try the SSF stuff and see how that goes, since even my first character that I rolled on here was well over equipped just with cheap vendor and bazaar shit. I think it would be cool challenge to do a SSF build. But other than that, yeah its kinda lacking. doing the same top 1-2 dungeons over and over again gets old really fucking fast. The only thing that really kept me going was trying to self equip all my alts, but now that this is finished I have no drive to do that shit again. I will take my time with PoP because ive never done it before, and obv there is no rush, but aside that there really isnt much to do here.
I think more than anything I enjoyed doing the quests, like for the earrings in luclin and epics more than anything on this server. I wish they would buff more of the questing stuff, because at least for me, it gave me something to do other than doing VT or TOV or sleeper for the 20th time.
edit: Plus there was a stream I was watching fri morning while working and the dude was going over the items in pop boss by boss and to tell you the truth there is a few items here and there in the elemental planes but the good shit does not start to drop until time. So while luclin VT and NTOV equipped youre going through entire PoP progression with no upgrades. Or hardly any if at all. And IMo that jsut feels bad. And on top of all that if time cannot be soloed? Well there you have it. No new AA, the dude basically said you have all of your AA for the length of the server till DoN unless they add a few for balance purposes. You have reached the end until some other expansion drops in 4 months, lol.

Yea, PoP is really when they started making it so if it isn't from the end game zone of the current expansion its pretty much obsolete. Which is really going to suck especially if time is something that needs to be duo'd. I mean if I remember right the only things that won't be replaced in time is maybe a couple drops from the time flag guys in the elemental plains, like maybe a drop from rathe council or the tyrant guy in fire etc.
Didn't they revamp an old world raid boss or two and give them time like loot ? maybe they could introduce those to break up some of the monotony of just doing time over and over.

Did they say they were going to reset the free class change charge when PoP rolls around? I might need to also switch my RNG/BRD/CLR (that I didn't much care for) over to the PAL/BRD/ENC tank build too, just in case I feel the urge to try to farm PoT if it's going to be that hard.
Does anyone know if PoT bosses are immune or highly resistant to magic, because maybe SK/Rog/RNG would be just as good?
Regarding gear, doesn't the 5 level increase mean all previous gear is going to be mostly obsolete outside of niche cases like clickables? It's been so long since I played, and I was mostly a solo or single group player, living vicariously through friends that were bigtime raiders, that I forgot how gearing works.
