It may just be poor wording on Cata's part. But yes, as worded heal song would pop the fuck off. You wouldn't ever need to use any other healer, lol.

Yeah IDK why they have to fuck with bard. They offer so little aside the mitigation... Run speed?...fucked on this server. Bard DD?.. is ass.... Overhaste? is meh and will be on items in pop. I swear they are doing this to further nerf pet cucks. All the while gutting the other builds that are using bards. JUST NERF THE FUCKING MAGE TANK PET and move on, like wtf? They are so fucking scared to do the right thing here its crazy. Skirting around the main issue like a little bitch.
And its not like they are making all the other builds that use bards, invincible or something, lol. Its only the bard pet cucks who are going in and killing their precious inquisitor. Oh no!

It completely changes how Bards work tanking wise. It “may” be better in 1v1 situations. But every additional mob or additional hit makes the change worse. It basically took roughly 200 points of damage off of every hit applied to you. Fighting a single boss where he hits you 3x in the span of y seconds would be a minor change. Fighting 10 mobs that hit you 2x each in the span of y seconds would be a major change. The more hits, the wider the gap. Now think of how many PoP encounters have swarms of enemies.

I actually think they fucked up by allowing multi pet builds. There'd probably way more diversity of builds if you could just have 1 pet out. Could probably make it to where all pets could use the 15 slot "mage" bag on them to make necro/bl more attractive in those builds.

Yup. This is really about nerfing the recent surge in BRD/MAG/BST builds. And it's really a case of people rolling them because, "If you can't beat 'em, join em".
But just like you said, this all centers around the MAG pet being so fucking ridiculous. Then when you add in BRD on top of it, it sends the pet mitigation into the stratosphere.
But hey, let's make sure that the MAG epic pet is STILL the ultimate pet, while nerfing a bunch of shit on the periphery, rather than addressing the main culprit, because it'll mean less whales buy EOM.

Yeah its kinda sad they fucked themselves in the corner like this. They should just take the hit and do the right thing now, because its only getting worse. Its literally becoming the pet cuck server. Fuck, I even rolled one up. Only really use him to farm sleeper every day and its a fucking joke. I struggled with my main to hit certain breakpoints with spell power and gear, all the while I stroll in there with the bard cuck my first time, with pet not even having a full legendary bag, definitely not BIS, for either my pet or me, no augs, and the fight is a joke. Rarely have to cast a heal. I can only imagine when the pet cuck hits its ultimate form.

My only concern is, these encounters that normally require a duo to complete. If pet cuck is pretty much the only combo able to solo it, it will kind of pigeon hole people that want to solo them to that.
Coming from someone who much rather solo I don't want to pet cuck, already have a mag/bst/enc with mag epic and BIS velious but stopped him at 40 with like 1k AA...not fun.

There are others, but they take way more gear, AA, augs, bane weapon(s) to do the same shit, plus probably a bit more skill. Not to say pet cuck does not take some gear and AA but def not as much. I mean, this is the reason you see so many of them here on this server. Because they make everything EZ. But in reality who cares, right? Its a predominantly solo server with instances. well its starts to matter when they start nerfing other classes because when they intermix with pet cuck, which they dont want to touch apparently, they make them even stronger. This server has been around for 5 months live now, prob 2-3 more in beta before it released, and now all of a sudden they want to nerf bards? When it just so happens the new hotness has pet cucks switching out Necro to Bard?
I mean, fuck all the other builds that had bards in them and barely scraping by since beginning, def not doing 4/4 seru, lol. But clearly bard is the problem here.

I really hope they mean time rallos and not the flag rallos in tactics, its going to be aids if you need a group to just flag and not even just time flag. You can't even get to elemental planes with out RZ flag.

But the bigger issue I see is I really hope they are not balancing PoP end game around pet cucks. Which it looks like they are. And time not being able to be soloed is an issue as well. The death of this server, lol. 16 weeks of LFG? Might as well go back to live or play some other games then.

Yea, that's what I meant about hoping we don't get pigeon holed into pet cuck just to be able farm shit. Doubt I would stick out server if I need a partner just to farm time. Not that it would effect dev's if i stopped, already donated when i started and no reason to donate anymore. Could buy like a thousand echos with plat at this point.

Nahh, like I said if I cant solo time, like I have all the past expansions end game content, then there really isnt anything left here for me. Ill prob just quit and go play something else. If they want this shit to be "with friends" and shit, like the rest of the 10,000 other EQ servers, well, im out, lol. That was the only draw to this in the first place. My content at my pace at whatever hour I want to, solo.

Yeah, it's definitely not the fact that Mage essentially ALSO brings a fucking entire Warrior class with it, and is essentially almost 2 classes by itself. So, when you're MAG/X/X, you're actually WAR/MAG/X/X.
Pets not only have the mitigation of Warriors (actually even better, currently), but they Flurry at a higher %, crit at a higher rate (assuming you take a 2nd pet class), etc. The only thing pets don't have are the Discs that they absolutely refuse to drop the timers on (but they kinda do with things like Frenzied Burnout), which is really the only "advantage" melee possibly have over blue damage at this point.
But yeah, let's nerf Bards. It is definitely BARDS that are enabling afk Rallos kills. Definitely not pet classes...
.I bet you a fucking $100 BRD/RNG/PAL could afk solo Rallos too. But I guaranfuckingtee you it takes at least twice as long.
