Will listen to the Q&A and post shit later, but already out the gate they've announced that SSF/Hardcore Mode will be on the test server by next Friday.


New test notes also posted. They include Wizard and Warrior buffs (w/ Grappling Strike also benefiting Monks), and a scalable Zeb encounter.

Note: These are all subject to change before going live.

Cryomancy and Pyromancy
  • Cryomancy and Pyromancy have had their proc chance increased to 35%.
  • Pyromancy now does initial damage like Cryomancy in addition to a DoT
  • Cryomancy now has additional DoT damage like Pyromancy in addition to initial damage
  • Pyromancy DoT now leaves a massive -Cold Resist debuff
  • Cryomancy DoT now leaves a massive -Fire Resist debuff
Dimensional Shield AA Added
  • Eliminates getting interrupted while casting spells
Mana Burn/Blast/Blaze/VBlaze
  • CD with Hastened AA down to 15 minutes
  • Mana consumed changed to up to 10/20/30/40% of the players total mana pool
  • % Damage done increased
  • Now benefits from spell damage
  • Now benefits from crit/damage
Gut Punch
  • Now causes initial damage
  • Now increases all hit damage taken by 50% for 2 ticks
Grappling Strike
  • Now causes initial damage
  • Removes an enemies ability to evade melee attacks for 2 ticks
Press the Attack
  • Now causes initial damage
  • AC shred component added for 2 ticks
Warlord's Fury AA Added
  • 1 min CD
  • 100% All skill damage for 2 ticks (may be adjusted)
  • 25% increased threat generation
Bug Fixes
  • Players with certain titles should no longer crash when opening title window
  • Updated ALL legendary augments (including Easter Egg augments) to be attunable
  • Augments with Focus Effects containing Sympathetic Procs can now function if the host item already has a focus effect
  • Battle Cry of the Mastruq now correctly decreases weapon delay instead of increasing it
  • Bunny pet illusions now fixed
  • Possible fix to 0% crash bugs
Adjustments
  • Removed slow effect from Prismatic Entropy (to become secondary effect eventually).
  • The following Focus Effect types which previously had a randomized effect now have a static effectiveness:
    • Improved Damage
    • Improved Healing
    • Mana Preservation
    • Reagent Conservation
    • Hate Adjustment
  • Ranged Attack Mode no longer bypasses server limit for ranged attacks. (Confirmed lore that clicking the button was actually faster than autofire all along).
  • Your prayers have been heard. Druzzil Ro has determined to intervene on your behalf in the fight against Zebuxoruk. Interacting with Druzzil Ro after defeating Quarm will allow you to engage a magically restrained Zeb.

100+ questions today (same fucking guy over and over again), but i think this covers the bigger stuff-
general:
-current roadmap has GoD 4-5 months out (sounded like on test before halloween, live before thanksgiving?), with ssf/hardcore mode, classic zone dungeon finder (which may include fabled mobs) in the interim. after christmas, they'll be rolling out a leaderboard for ssf/hardcore and raid finder functionality.
-the "TLP wide berth" content pause beginning at the end of may will last about a month
-reiterated that it will always be solo progression server, with only custom capstone fights potentially requiring a duo. sounded like they have a couple new devs to help with balancing fights in general.
-continuing to evaluate increasing the level cap to 70 (with GoD?)
-they intend to keep the class change cooldown as it is
-not going to open up EoM for content skips, and implied they're trying to avoid pay2win in general
-extending on that, cata would prefer to open up the custom EoM bags and such to be purchasable by plat
-probably going to open up a suggestions forum on discord

changes:
-potential buff to warrior +hate weapon procs to give them a damage component
-potential melee doppeldangers for enchanter + warrior compositions by way of an AA
-some buff to tradeskills likely incoming that will increase how quickly the skillups occur
-they'll be implementing a content skip for phase 1-3 of time within the next week or so
-lot of reiteration that the buffs on test now for wizards and warriors will have considerable impact

They had mentioned reducing the timer of respawning DZ cooldowns in the past. Think the last QA I heard was 30 mins to make it easier to swap around instances and group with friends/quest etc.. Hope that goes in. Hated accidently closing a DZ then realizing I needed something else in the zone and open world was busy (usually epic related).

Man I gotta go back and read up on this I didn’t realize how different this was than I expected.

got to level 30 fairly quickly during the day but didn’t spend much time on the wiki yet: gotta figure out the whole deal with the Hare buffs. Something keeps casting blessing of life on me. The persistent buffs are coool. And the gear system seems fun.

but I legit went in blind and just folllowed the first couple quests then decided to level to 30 running around random zones. This is legit like a whole different experience than I expected from an EMU.

Probably gonna go to Guk now for AA that seems to be what people say.

The holiday buff lasts until 5/18. You get it cast on you every time you log in or zone.

So, one of the guys in discord pointed out that now you can give pets two timespinners. So my bst/mag/enc went and bought 6 of them. And it was indeed as glorious as you might think it would be. Hopped over to unrest and went from 8 to 15 in 15 minutes.
