The snow prequel was convoluted and fake and gay - you had to make a character that had 3 books of showing just how /true/ evil he was...then you have to dismantle that in 15min, then re establish it during the rest without makign your audience just completely abandon the book/film...and it was a fail.

This one, is much better - but still a bit flaky - I read it with my daughter who loved all the books...except the snow one.

Also...

That start of the game segment was not anything near the book, and that was kind of a key element to Haymich surviving the first 5min and "the arena" as a whole in what it "does"....but...whatever this is normal of book to movie stuff, things will get lost...changed.... races get swapped to mud brown because /the message/ etc

lulz make the gay guys be raising a nog... even though the books / movie have been fairly consistent that nogs are d11

Looked it up… yeah she was a ginger in the book.. I remembered she was not in any way black other than…maybe her hair description of having some curl- its hallarious they always use that as the excuse.
