S1 was alright to me. I finished S2 out of spite.

Aside from the guitar playing, which we skipped past, season 2 was pretty solid. Never played the games but kinda looking forward to Abby's POV.

Druckman announced he won’t be involved with season 3, so maybe there is now hope

nope, not if you listen to the way Craig Mazin constantly glazes Druckmann and the game on their podcast.

That would be quite the podcast if it was just Mazin dunking on Druckman.

I think it will be a long time coming for Season 3. All of the drama around Bella Ramsey, along with how bad Season 2 was, leads me to think that Season 3 might even just get cancelled, despite HBO approving the season. HBO gave the go ahead for Season 3 before Season 2 came out. This is why I get the feeling that Season 3 might just not even happen.

In an interview with Variety, HBO boss Casey Bloys addressed the future of The Last of Us, which has undergone some creative shake-ups in recent weeks – as well as nailing down a release window for The Last of Us season 3.

"The series is definitely planned for 2027. Craig is still working it out whether it will be two more seasons or one more long season," Bloys said. "It hasn’t been decided yet, and I’m following Craig’s lead on that."


i'm actually playing the game now and its a dumpster fire, not as bad as the show since the gameplay and stealth is pretty good but the story/characters are so, so bad. Its actually kind of fun playing as Abbie because I keep suiciding off cliffs and shit to kill her. Its crazy how much the game is so Ubisoft-y in how much time you just spend looking around rooms trying to collect shit, I feel like a post apocalyptic trash man or magpie collecting useless shit.
