More are ranked lower than the peak. (perhaps, it's really hard to tell the area under a curve with just my mark 1 calibrated eyeballs) But the average should be 5.5 (1+10)/2. So really, more are ranked higher than what you would expect.

I don't know if that's even an important distinction in statistics. I just noticed that the bottom is labeled "Weighted Average Rating". Whatever that weighting is probably explains the right shift.

They don't explain their weighting system in detail to prevent manipulation, but they basically say movies with few ratings will be held more near the middle, and the more votes it gets the less their "average" weighting applies. This prevents movies with 5 ratings all being 10 from being the highest rated movie (or lowest rated movie) in their system.

On a cell phone but you can read what "weighted" means and there is a note any time they implement it ("unusual activity detected"), just look up the snow white remake and you'll see what I mean.

I'm 50:19 in, so far pretty good. Wife passed out so I'll resume tomorrow. Arya Stark's woke ass is in it, whatever her name is. The neckbeard scam guy is pretty good and so is the corporate network dude watching it go on. I dunno who the black lady up there in the booth with them is supposed to be.


Edit: Brikker is correct some fat libtard pig will definitely go to the incel insult out of nowhere, usually before Nazi unless you talk about having functional immigration laws or not hiring based on race - THAT is when they use Nazi in my experience

She is from standards and practices, like an independent review board to make sure rules are being followed and nobody is cheating, and that nobody cusses on air, etc.

Ya it was pretty good for telling this story. If you spoil what happens it would take a point off, or go into it with a "already know what happens" or negative attitude I guess.

I think they did as good a job as possible at telling the story and the reality of FAFO "winning at games". Because that's true, they weren't shy about being honest about showbiz and the portrayal was solid? 8/10 for me.
